Isn't putting your feet up on the table using more hamstrings? Which you demonstrated is contrary at teh beginning of the video? I'm confused? Thansk for your help!
@Priyam108 When he elevates feet and shoulder he is equal on both sides, just as if he would be lying on the floor. The only difference is that his range of motion is dramatically increased.
When doing this with your feet elevated if you put a pad between your knees and squeeze while preforming the motion you get more glute activation and it take the pressure off the hamstrings.
How do I know I'm using my hips to push up instead of my back? Someone please respond.

thats not a hip thrust lol, a hip thrust is when you lie down on your back and do pretty much reverse crunches, but into the air vertically

@JonathansFilmsInc bret contreras, the guy explaining the exercise in this video, literally created the hip thrust. I think he's got it figured out.
