In your response to ShadeeFan, you show much of a disgusting little man you are. You sound like a female brain? What does that even mean? That he has a rational mind? Regarding the Supreme Court, it is their DUTY to interpret the Constitution, has been for 200 years. They based roe v. Wade on the right of privacy, a right described in previous cases that they were basically required to follow (by precedent). The 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Amendments provide an implicit right to privacy.

You are obviously psychotic, so let me say this - who in the government is saying that that the prisoners in Girmo have a privacy right to not let those pictures out? I'm not even going to ask if you're nuts, because you so clearly are. By the way, a couple things about medical records - there is a privacy LAW that initially requires that they respect the patients privacy rights - HOWEVER, medical records may be discoverable in a lawsuit against the hospital/doctor.

Any "implied" right to privacy -- and our privacy rights are pretty flimsy of late -- does not necessarily countenance or support a "right to abortion." Uhm - a day old zygote is not a "life" that you "kill" - in fact, the morning after pill even stops conception, and if the egg does happen to be fertilized, it stops the implantation just the morning after - it has nothing to do with "life". Perhaps if you let people use contraceptives, and taught them how to use them effectively, there would be *gasp* no abortions! How about that! The easiest and most scientifically accurate definition of life, is anything post fertilization, including pre-implantation. Referring to this new human life as non-life or non-human is unscientific, untruthful, and dishonest. Further, it opens the door to all manner of unethical BioTech experimentation on human beings. To claim that PRE IMPLANTATION as life is "scientific" and "accurate" is plain ridiculous, and you have no proof to back you up. If the zygote cannot live outside the mother, how exactly is that life? And, like I said, a 1-day old zygote is not life, even under YOUR definition. They say Abortion should be readily available, a private choice, and doctors must be trained and willing or unwilling providers of same, right to the very last day of the Ninth Month of Gestation in the Mother's Womb. Even the controversy over Partial Birth Abortion seems to have passed you by completely. We are talking about Legalized, sometimes forced, Infanticide and Euthanasia here. mdelcamp - as people have mentioned, nobody is "pro-abortion", they are PRO-CHOICE. Secondly, nobody has said that we should abort up to the ninth month - in fact, that would be illegal. There are some exceptions, such as if the health of the mother is in danger, but if you don't fit under one of the exceptions, it is illegal. You are psychotic if you think that a woman finds out she is pregnant early, wants to have an abortion, but decides to wait until the 9th month for fun - you are NUTS.

mdelcamp - that is YOUR definition of a zygote - a zygote is essentially a fertilized ovum - it is YOUR decision to attach the label "life" to it. Yes, I began as a zygote, but I am ALIVE today because I grew to become VIABLE and BORN - my life did not occur at conception - hell, we still have gills during early development.

If you "gotta fight craziness" I can understand. Myself, I try to avoid killing bugs, if at all possible, so they do not come back like bad karma in another life, and eat me alive like a giant spider in a 1950s B-Horror Movie, or swarm me like beetles from a kitchen sink drain pipe like in a Stephen King screenplay. Plus, I feel better about myself, if I forego killing bugs or other creatures needlessly. Don't forget about that movie, "Starship Troopers" either -- intergalactic war vs the bugs!

People are revived to Life from so-called "heart death" or "brain death" all the time within medical literature and other sources. People in comas for years, can revive and recover consciousness and live the rest of their lives, hopefully, and with thankfulness for their own "full measure" of life. I never said you couldn't be revived... If your heart stops, you die. You can die more than once, if they get to you in time. But if your heart stops for a certain amount of time YOU ARE NOT COMING BACK and medically dead. So tell me how something WITHOUT A HEART is alive.

Something without a heart is alive, because we are talking about very early, gestating, God Given human life in the womb of the Mother, which is growing, changing, developing, and which has a full, complete map for it's own existence, yes, apart from the Mother. It is a fully independent and self directed life, which the Mother of any two-year-old would be able to explain to you, far better than myself. I cannot see why people with no appreciation for the value of human life, should make policy.

Furthermore, A zygote does NOT have a heart. It does not beat until about 3 weeks into a pregnancy. You saying that the zygote is forming a heart, so it's alive is a false statement. Fetus' develop both male and female parts, very young... if the genes read the baby is female, the Penis falls off and becomes the sister organ, the clit. Does this ( to you) Mean all females have a penis... because it was forming? There is a difference in a forming heart and a beating one.
