yeah, he does seem a little too hard on the drum parts. Hmm, I actually really liked the groove on many of these songs. It doesn't have to be blisteringly hard like the thrash pack, it just has to be fun. And it is.

you guys sell it so negatively. You rate every drum chart as repettetive and boring I play at about the same level on drums as you, and I'd hate it if every song was full of weird rythms and arm breaking rolls like The Perfect Drug or Kool Thing. Keeping rythm is fun too.

yeah but just look at these charts, these songs ARE repetitive on drums

and not all good drum songs are hard, like beethoven's c*** and hard to handle, which is actually really easy

i always like your reviews, but some advice would be don't tell them "it's your favorite" or "most fun song" at the beginning, because we know (most likely) it will be the highest scored song that week, also the guitarist seems to be a little nicer and the drummer a little cruel, but that could just be me

They are for the most part. Definitely avoid Good Times Roll. I literally was falling asleep during that song, which is a shame because its a fun song to listen to. The album isn't worth passing over entirely, though. And if you play guitar at all, at least get some songs.

Welllll... Just What I Needed is different enough from the other songs to be slightly more fun, but it's definitely still below average which is why I gave it a 3.5. I definitely would not give it, say, an 8. That score's reserved for fun stuff like Kool Thing or Thrasher.

Obviously because 5 is average. You REALLY have to understand that. Only songs like Ride the Lightning and GGaHT are 10 worthy.
