I'm sorry to tell you this bro,but they did come up with something like that.they already have it over in Europe.they use that stuff 4hotels to open up the doors then using a key card.rim does it I just think amerca is late on it!!!!!
@DRJ510 - There is not even close to enough room. RIM designed these so maybe a small space is there but not enough for a full card. Not to mention the card are to wide believe me if I could have fit the card in I would have. Or even a modified case so the card slides in instead of opening my security card.

Most departments that take care of it wont let you do it because it wrecks the card for the next user and will most likely ask you to pay for it if your going to mess with it. My company didn't care mainly because I handle them but I just bought it and put another in the pot so they are out nothing.

Just be very careful when opening the card those wires are so small they can break easy. I broke one doing mine. luckily I work in the IT department and we had a few laying around to test with.

Yep I am using both now with no issues I just removed them for the video so people that didn't see my other MOD wouldn't keep asking what the washers were for. I am going to actually update the windows mount Video in a few days to show the newest one with 2 magnets. Again if RIM or a 3rd party could build these into the cases that would rock.
well, we have a built-in RFID chip which is pretty tiny. It's connected with your mobile phone number - so you can buy things in the canteen (e.g.) and they will charged to your monthly mobile phone bill. Regarding to this you also can open doors, etc with it. But for that we have an extra corporate ID card including a second RFID chip.

This is nothing special - in Germany we have that in our company already. We even pay with our Blackberry RFID Chips in the canteen.

well, we have a built-in RFID chip which is pretty tiny. It's connected with your mobile phone number - so you can buy things in the canteen (e.g.) and they will charged to your monthly mobile phone bill. Regarding to this you also can open doors, etc with it. But for that we have an extra corporate ID card including a second RFID chip.
