This band got hosed. But whatever. This version is on an ep (you can find it if you look) called Your Aquarium. Killer version of "Mandy" on it. The accoustic version is on their first cd "Delaware". Killer version of "Angel" on it. It's the first song I taught myself to play. They had another cd called "National Coma" It kinda sucked but was better than 95% of the crap coming out then. And I wish I coulda seen 'em open for Blur (greatest band of my generation).
Saw this band open for Blur in 1993. The first show was cancelled but the Drop Nineteens played. The chick singing had her guitar unplugged the whole show!! The second night it was plugged in. We couldn't stop laughing. Cute though. I had this version of the song at my radio station. Should have kept it!!
I bought the Delaware album hoping to get this song in this version. But no....it was the acoustic version. Does anyone know where I can get this song in this version?
Really!? It was hard enough getting a real copy of Delaware, I don't know how the hell I'll get the single for this. I might as well be looking of the holy grail.
you can buy the Your Aquarium EP on itunes
