i am not completely convinced by the anthropogenic global warming argument, and this video wasn't very scientific. yes there has been warming that is agreed amongst the scientific community. whether its humans causing the warming is a bit dodgy. there is an obvious connection between co2 and temp which is at warmer temperatures the oceans can hold less gasses and so release co2 i don't think it drove climate in the past, but there is a chance it could be today.

Somehow, I don't expect this video to change the minds of the global warming "skeptics". Even solid evidence isn't strong enough to sway ignorance of that magnitude.

The question is not is it getting warmer. The question is, if it's getting warmer what is the cause and what is the result. I'm not about to upturn our life if the worse thing that obtains is some rich folks lose their beach front property. A timeline needs to be determined also. This way we have an idea of our capacity to adapt. The last thing we need is hysteria which the GW crowd serves up without end. This clip is real propaganda.

@globalarte I invite you to read theoretical physicist Lee Smolin's book, The Problem with Physics. While it has nothing to do with GW it will show you 'group think' among the that community. It does happen. It is possible. Just cause someone has a PhD and is called a scientist doesn't make them immune from behaving stupidly and spreading falseness. That makes it doubly hard for those of us who are not specialists in a particular field. We'd like to think they can be trusted.

Is hard to disprove a mainstream knowledge because you have to prove the new theory really well.

Now most scientist approve "Global W" mechanisms because there are a lot of test/proofs to confirm it and no scientist came with strong evidences to disprove it yet.

The "controversy" about this is created by politicians, like the one created about evolution.

The CO2 levels follow the global temperature, not the other way around. You can see it for yourself on every CO2/temperature graph. We are not responsible for global warming. It's just mad pride. We just need to adapt, and we will, if we like it or not.

If the graphs are correct -the same graphs people use that think humans are responsible for global warming - then temperature rise implicates CO2 level increase; global warming is followed by a rise in CO2 levels. Shutting down our CO2-releasing industry won't stop global warming at all.

"In 2009, the CO2 global average concentration in Earth's atmosphere was about 0.0387% by volume..." (wikipedia). In 1832 it was appr. 0.0284%. ->

It amazes me that some dont care that we need to take care of our earth. Bridges, rails etc. started being constructed, when? No one takes the time to take care of those things. They colaspe, or break apart. SOMEBODY has to spend money to keep these thing functional. The time is now to do something about our dams, bridges and other things. It shouldnt be about who pays what, or who makes what, a lots of people will make moolah on this. SO WHAT. cant we do our share too without bitchin about it.
