The image that I most objected to in your last video was the wrapped and unwrapped lollipops, onto which you superimposed the words "covered or uncovered?". If you don't want to be accused of victim blaming and slut-shaming, why did you do that?. You say that covering is up to individual choice, but this image implies that you think uncovered women are dirty and attract flies. Kathy Chin was an abuse survivor and you are exploiting her story. Did she give you permission?

I am a christian woman, and I have tried wearing a hijab (still do somtimes, cos its winter and its a good way to wrap the scarf so both neck and head keeps warm) but I never wear it when I go out and know I might need some help, cos people r not very nice to women wearing a hijab...

Modesty of dress is something all women and men should observe. Nuns veil to identify themselves as brides of Christ. They sacrifice their identity and lives to Christ, the Bridegroom. I would believe that the hijab was a choice...if the morality police in Iran did not cane women who do not measure up. I wonder how many muslim women would cast it aside if they had a real choice? If they were not under the threat of being pariah, beaten or derided by the muslims who laud its value.

@mintavia I wonder if you would consider this the same when its the other way around. Like in France, or parts of Egypt. Where the same as you've mentioned happens to women who do wear their hijab. And if you look into the history of Christianity, or even ask you grandmother, you'll know that Christian women all over the world dressed modestly.  Women weren't even allowed in church without having their body and hair covered. Study study study. You have a lot to learn before you judge.

I dont get why u show nuns as a means to show that some christian women wear covering, since being a nun is something different from normal women, they cover as a way of shoving that no man will have them, that being as a wife or whatever. it is not much like muslim covering.

I don't buy this shit. There's no need to hide women. The distinction being attempted here to place "femininity" and "sexuality" apart is rather crass. Western men, especially the French and English, have always valued beauty. Look at European art from generations ago. The female body has often represented more than just a physical entity but eternal ideals. Orthodox Moslem men have a problem viewing unveiled women because they are stupid monkeys. If I want my friend who is not a Muslim, to come to Islam, then all I can do is pray for him, I cannot force him to embrace Islam. I can only inform him of my religion and pray for him, the rest is in Allah`s hands, because it is Allah who gives Hidayat, not us humans. What about the difference between faith and knowlegde? Islam says knowledge is the most important thing.
