I run a small young adults church which is centered on community; loving God, loving people and we steer away from all things that arnt truth and sincerity. I know that I am truly following Christ. I believe in giving but I don't always agree with some of the request for money from some of these ministries. I suggest that you read the whole bible because Paul told us to judge the prophets to see if what they say is true. If its not true then you are to not allowed them to speak at all. Steve Munsey sickens me. The first time I saw him, I was gullible and watched his dramatics with sincerity and belief.
My situation was desperate. He kept saying he had a prophetic word for people in desperate situations. After about 45 minutes of his hype (foolishly, I held on), he said that the word was for those who would send $7500 to his ministry. Unfortunately, that left me out.
Steve Munsey is a deceiver and an abuser of hurting, desperate people. He is not a man of God.

scott, how right you are. Who can believe this phony fake? It's beyond my comprehension what people have done with their minds. I have studied the charismatic/evangelical movement for several years and honestly, despite the scores of frauds, I think Munsey rates at the very top. How many 'new seasons' and 'double portions' are we going to have to go through before we see anything happen? What a bastard.
