  • Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is not as charismatic as his predecessor, Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khameini, but is still an interesting man. Just got done reading an entry on him on wikipedia. Iran is an interesting country to study, very complex society.

  • The goverment and the people of Iran had not flex their muscles by occupying other nations. They had not placed their armies in Iraq nor in kuwait nor in saudi nor in afganistan or any other nations in the free world. They dont have to because they are people who are governed by the ahlul beit of the holy Prophet Muhammed.(SAW) Who knows better than to encroach on other for their daily bread. And above all they are a nation that doest depend on credit finacing to survive.

  • The west should know better that trying to belittle Mr Ahmedenejad whom the people of Iran had chosen as their president. Now the world shoud know that the muslims outside Iran also give their support behind mr Ahmedenejad. The muslims of the world know the fate of islamic leaders who colloborated and compromise with the enemies of islam.Long live the mukmeen of Iran May Allah protect them and their leaders.

  • Simply US UK Israel propogenda against Muslims ... only ignorants can beleive with them ..

    Down with Supporters of Hyppocarates

  • 1:02 what a stupid person..she really needs a history lesson... "speak softly" quote is Teddy Roosevelt... *facepalm*

  • "Reagan said, 'Walk softly and carry a big stick'"????? That was Teddy Roosevelt you typical-incompetent leftist newsie!

  • Good for you, Ted. You pass the high school exit exam. Can you also tell me who said "All we have to fear is fear itself?" How about, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask rather what you can do for your country."

And last but not least -- who said "...that a government of the people, by the the people and for the people, should not perish from the earth." -- was that Karl Marx? Sounds like it, fuckin' commie.

  • What's wrong with you, tao?

I know the answers to all of those, but the fact that the leftist newsie didn't is very telling about how good they are able to do their jobs when they don't even know something so basic and simple as THAT!

  • You know the answers to ALL of those? Well done! You get a candy for the day.

Do you ever have anything substantial to say?

I wonder, if Obama had come out blasting the Iranians for fixing the election, if the Republicans would have criticized him for meddling? I dont wonder, actually. The Republicans can be DEPENDED UPON to take the opposing position to Obama EVERY TIME. And as it works out, whenever Obama does the right thing, the Republicans, like Pavlov's dogs, COME OUT FOR THE WRONG THING

  • Well, seeing how we Republicans believe in the power, authority, responsibility, responsibility and rights OF THE INDIVIDUAL, I cannot speak for other Republicans.

However, I would have applauded the Great D'ohBama for finally doing something smart!

  • How about pressuring pharma companies to get their prices down? Was that good? Or do you like the prescription drug fiasco Bush gave us (written by pharma lobbyists.)

Not even going to give him good points for that, huh? You Republicans are so cute!

  • I wonder if that's going to fair any better than allowing and forcing high-risk loans...

  • So, you are going to oppose cheaper drugs. And you are going to defend Bush's trillion dollar "prescription drug plan," by citing a bullshit Fox News spin talking point ABOUT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SUBJECT.

Republicans are adorable. Thank god, if they keep on like you, they will never see the halls of government again!

  • If the cheaper drugs force the pharma industry into bankruptcy, then yes I am against cheaper drugs.

If the cheaper drugs force the pharma industry into slowing or stopping development of new drugs to attack our illnesses and injuies, then yes I am against cheaper drugs.

If the cheaper drugs force the pharma industry into cutting jobs and scaling back production, then yes I am against cheaper drugs.

  • So, what you are saying is that without constantly coming up with new brand name drugs (exactly the same as the old ones, with one minor change, so they can renew the patent, and charge more money for the same old drug,) poor pharma companies will go bankrupt, or have to cut jobs?

Your paranoid fear of the government OF THE PEOPLE, is matched only by your UNFLINCHING, UNCRITICAL, ASS-LICKING DEVOTION TO MULTI-NATIONAL CORPORATIONS.

  • Only a fool doesn't fear government as power always corrupts those who wield it, just look at the Great D'ohBama.

    He destroys your liberty,

    with a laugh and a grin;

    and makes you so happy,

    you ask, "Do it again?"

  • Ted. I have to be honest. That poem was retarded.

The quote is ABSOLUTE POWER corrupts absolutely. Obama, as an American president, in the American 3 part governmental system, does NOT HAVE ABSOLUTE POWER.

Bush tried to CLAIM absolute power. But he was corrupt in the first place anyway.

What has Obama done, in his first 6 months, that strikes you as corrupt. Please stick to facts. And you DO know what corruption means, right? (Breaking the law, obstructing justice, nepotism, lying, etc.)

  • The quote is "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts, absolutely." (There's your public school education going again.)

Seizing GM and Chrysler is one of many examples of the Great D'ohBama's corruption.

So is illegally firing an Inspector General who discovered a big-time D'ohBama supporter illegally using federal government grants that D'ohBama got for him.

    Want more?

  • TedinLasVegas....

Someone who cannot use the president's actual name, has no valid argument, and also has personal issues.

    Want more?

  • So, all of those liberals who referred to our previous president as "W" or "shrub" should be ignored?

    Free speech should be ignored?

Typical liberal; "be fair and nice to guys while we trash and ignore yours."

  • Funny how it was a typical CNN flunkie that blew it.

  • Who was that commie that said government should be of, by and for THE PEOPLE?

  • The Ayatollah Of Rock And Rolla!

Haha! Sorry just had a flashback to the MadMax movie. =P~

  • Love Gibb's answer towards the end...."oh yes that's what the president did monday and tuesday"...he had just the right amount of sarcasm to be stinging

  • that wasnt regan

  • is that pfotenhauer making reagan into teddy roosevelt? its kind of hard to tell one angry neo-con from another. her ignorance is astounding. wherever she got her degree they should revoke it or the school should be shut down.

she helped lose the mccain election just by being a loud intollerant betch. you would think someone would pay for her to shut up and fade away.

  • Obama is doing exactly what he MUST do.

This is about them and them alone! Not the west!

All we could do is hinder and confuse the matter.

Sure the opposition to what I have to say may seem at first glance to have sound logic but like all things that sound good at face value when actually applied hardly work out favorable.

  • Really simple analogy that sums up what is happening.

Your close friend is in a fight with another close friend. What do you do? Be sympathetic to the situations but by no means take a side.

Sure they arent our friends but all we could do by getting involved is damage our delicate foreign relations

  • It's hilarious that Iran is considered a democracy. The have a "Supreme Leader" that is power and has ultimate say in everything... but the election is for some president that pretty much just does what the leader tell him to.

Then the "Supreme Leader" says to cave into the Iranian people and let them march and give them a revote would be just like a dictatorship! LOL How is it not already?

  • You are a big liar Mr Ayatullah Khamenie ,,,,What about now,,,You? should be ready to answer after real Revolution....It is not too far

Ayatullah Khomeni burn in hell for ever,,,you killed more than 100.000 innocence in prisons and more than one million in war and now the people wake up and time for change for justice ...

  • You really can't win with the media: you either meddle too much or not enough. I think Obama has done a good job of sending a strong message without getting into the electoral politics of a foreign nation.

  • The media are were hungry for a blood bath in Iran Why do we want our President of the USA to comment on what is happening in Iran Did we care what the leaders of the world said during Katrina or any of our problem it seems the media and these self promoting ego Sen and Cong people love war and think America is the police of the world but in selective areas.

CNN, MSNBC, and FIX News, also the Repub Sen & Cong are so phoney and evil. :Let Iran take care of Iran - What do we have to do with it.

  • why does a America think it has a supreme right to tell other countries manyly brown skined how to live their lifes get over yourselfs the age of colonosim is dead

  • Iran's an Indo- Aryan country, dude. The political establishment there are mostly Persian not Pashtun. Come to think of it, I think they renamed Persia to Aryan then simplified it into Iran

  • Meddlers catch meddling.

Did Iran tell the US how to conduct our election? No. Should the US be involved in every country's election? No.

All McCain does each time his old cranky ass speaks, is make people sigh in relief that he lost the election.

  • 1:10 lol

    im subscribing this is great

  • it is a abomination to use any military force on people of Iran. Whatever use of military force brings destruction and useless pain. Its outrage to blame any other nation for any actions done by own military forces on its own people. The world is falling apart earing cries of Iranian people. Let pain continue and world see only greater suffering, the voice of Iranian people should not be silenced, but supreme leader should ask United Nations for mercy for this outrage.

  • This is the best example of why you must have separation of church and state.

  • Obama's the Antichrist in the White House

  • Idiot.

  • Great vids

  • oh so it was Reagan and not Rosevelt who said walk softly and carry a big stick...

  • Republican history is very different from actual history.

  • I know right. How can anyone blow that one? Unless you haven't used up your daily mention of 'Reagan' quota.

  • I am for the people, I am not a republician,

I am a free Christian, I want all people to be free. This reminds me of Selma, Ala.

The freedom march, are we so selfish

we do not want the same things we have for others ?.

  • obama wont meddle in Irans business because he doesnt want blowback of other governments critizising the current internal affairs in the us with the fed+bank+insurance bailouts, or its current removal of some basic human rights in the us, the war of terrorizing the middle east for oil with private mercenary armies, etc etc. in my opinion obama is being mutually respectful with irans supreme leader because in a sence both govs are not following the path of real freedom for their people or others

  • i like how republicans are saying we should "support the brave iranians" that they just gone done telling us were no different than the old iranians.

  • Fvck Khamenei.

Death to the Islamic Republic in its entirety!

  • The Ayatollah Khamenei supreme leader dude is praying that Obama supports the opposition in Iran. He wants to blame things on the US... Obama is making this task very difficult for the bearded "supreme leader", the bearded one truly has no body to blame but himself and the little bigmouth monkey he has for president (Ahmadinejad)...

  • Exactly, which is also why the Republicans want Obama to say something...they know the Ayatollah will react, then the GOP can say Obama is sabre rattling and making the country unsafe from Iran...next thing you know, more shit talk about axis of evil...

Obama is slow playing very well at this point. Make the Iranian clergy lose power at the hands of Iran's people, who are becoming enlightened to what true democracy is.

  • Who is that dumb blonde moron who always says tgif??? I hate her.

  • So wait. . .. . . Mixing religion and government is a BAD thing????

    Do the Republicans know this?

  • Comment removed

  • Republicans probably have not learned their history. In fact, they probably failed history at a portion covering the Dark ages and the Renaissance. The reason for those are that they happen during a time where politics came from religion.

  • learn some history you fucking nationalist idiot!

  • When you read american newspapers you find many authors critisizing the islamic regime..very good..but when you look back..the same people supported the destruction of Iraq!!! it is such a joke! The only reason why islamic maniacs like chomeini were supported by the majority is, because they were opposing the brutal dicatorships supported by the western. Now the islamists are getting under pressure because the major enemy, the bloodthirsty USA/EU, is vanishing..

  • Teddy Roosevelt said speak softly and carry a big stick. The myth of Reagan just keeps getting bigger.

That the Republicans don't understand the strategic thinking that getting behind Mousavi would only give Ahmedinijad supporters more ammo/willpower shows their mental deficiencies.

  • Lol, I know. Roosevelt is know for that quote.Republicans are so dense, I swear.

  • Only the jews that got killed in WW2 count, didn't you know that?

  • the holocaust does not legitimate all future wars. It does for instance not legitimate the operation ajax where the british and americans smashed democracy in persia and installed a brutal militaric government (that finally led to the uprising of the islamic resistance)

  • Things everyone can agree on:

    1. John Mccain has the most awful lisp after every word, geez man open your mouth or don't speak at all

    2. The speaker of the white house seems like such a dickhead, honestly, I'd like to see him get punched :)

  • i agree with you about the lisp, makes me cringe...

by speaker of the white house im assuming you mean press secretary gibbs... its every press secretarys job to look like a dickhead, so the president never has to

  • Take youtube notes...

America is the next battleground for freedom!

Too bad we didn't rise up against Bushie when he stole the election...

    someday

  • "the president hasn't done squat"

The US is not world police. Obama made the right choice

  • rewind... Regan did not say that!

  • very good point....*sigh*

  • the ayatollah is scared because his position is threatened

  • Reagan never said that....

  • HEY AMERICANs do you know how to march like the Iranians, but only in your own streets

Can you put the US money mullahs/oligarchy in their place?

  • eh, i personally hate how the "evidence" they bring up against Ahmadenijad is simply "hes crazy" "he denied the holocaust"

The first is purely opinion, he is obviously medically sane. The second, shouldn't make less of a person, there is a difference between him saying "I don't think it happened" to "I am glad it happened, or want it again" .I don't like him, but Iranians are against him for economic and civic reasons, not his challenge of a history.

  • You know, its ironic that Reagen is always referred to. In my recollection, didnt Reagen get in trouble for the actions of his administration giving stuff to the Iranians? Did everybody forget Iran Contra like Amah whatever his name is forgot the HOLOCAUST?

  • Republicans don't allow the iran contra incident to be mentioned in their states. Democrats are too stoned to remember.

  • McCain is still excessively using air-quotes...silly old man. Fucking politicians.

  • McCain-Palin is still a horrifying idea.

  • McCain thinks Obama should bomb Iran. I bet if he won President McCain would be fanning the flames of a war with Iran.

  • i don't think the iranians are going to just stop protesting because someone told them too...they've already been told repeatedly to stop and they haven't. good for them :)

  • Last fall the repukes wanted all Iranians to die, but now that they can pull a few "freedom fighters" out of the group they embrace them with open arms. Gotta love politics.

  • I don't think we should physically do anything, but if a government official wants to state his/her opinion, why not.

  • Reagan never said "speak softly and carry a big stick." That was Teddy Roosevelt!

  • yay! History Class

  • Why have Republicans become the delinquent older brother in America?

They frakkin' nag Obama about being a socialist, now they're nagging him for not meddling in another country's civil war-like uprising.

It's like, STFU and let him do his job!!

    Frakkin' backseat drivers...

  • heell bitin' gun totin' bible thumpin' hypocritical republicans die hard

  • Didn't John McCain get the point in November that Americans don't believe he has a grasp of foreign affairs? Go home and rest, old man!

  • John McCain is such a f'n douche nozzle!

If this senile old goat were President there may have been no need for elections in Iran at all. He seemed quite enthralled with the idea of nuking the whole country not too long ago.

  • i just want to smack the shit out of that lady at 1:04 for her blatant ignorance. It was Theodore Roosevelt not Reagan that said "speak softly, but carry a big stick" How could she possibly mix the two presidents up, the two were presidents 80 years apart. The ignorance in the Republican party just plain amazes me.

  • ... but, she has a REAL nice canned tan... much like John Boehner (R Ohio).

  • hey now, don't just blame the republicans, the democrats are really no better, and they loooooove socialized programs.

god i hate both parties :P

  • 6 months ago the Repubs wanted to bomb the shit out of Iran, now Iran's a poor country that needs to be helped?

What happened to all that axis of evil talk?

McCain a few months back singing... "bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran bomb Iran"

McCain now... "the President has refused to support these brave Iranians"

The hypocrisy that comes out of these people is absolutely astounding!

  • it's the game.

They did this in Kosovo too and the DNC did it in Iraq

This is how they keep Americans busy and eye off the important issues like how their friends are robbing us blind - it's a duopoly

turn off the TV - join some political action committee

    take your country back

  • Yet another clear indicator about why Obama is president and John McCain ISN'T.

    Bomb-bomb-bomb-bomb Iran...

  • LOL, John McCain ¨Brave Iranians¨, comeing from a man who sung ¨bomb bomb bomb, bomb Iran!¨

  • ...that wasn't Reagan.

  • Neat.

  • Ahmadinejad and his supporters=Republicans in America

Belligerent Fundamentalists who want to take their countries backwards

  • This is bullshit... the iranians HATE the US, if Obama gives his support to one of the candidates, it's only gonna help the other. What Obama should do if he wanted to help Iran would be to give his support to ahmadinijad...

  • and i quote "We want to re-establish connections with the west!" -Iranian civilian (Moussavi supporter)

  • reagan is the new zombie jesus.....you cannot say your farewell and burry him cause he keeps comming back

  • HA, which Ahmadinejad is the guy talking about at 1:11?? He can't be serious!

And if most Americans wanted McCain to speak for the country, he would have won the election. Just sayin'....

I don't see what President Obama can really do about Iran. Stop making such a big deal out of it, REPUBLICANS!!!

  • ver506, "He is an honest man who lives a simple life."

    Something wrong with that statement?

  • Iran and North Korea speak loudly and carry small sticks.

  • lol good one

  • Just wait until that 'small' stick is a Nuclear Weapon in Your Back Yard

  • go there and tell um yourself - find the biggest nut job amongst them and give him an ear full

    Jesus , grow up

  • Take your meds, Hurley.

  • just what I thought, you're a blow hard with a small stick

  • Please, people of Iran. Please. Strike now.

  • When will the US Government hear the American People's voice?

  • I understand ur point, but the fact is the iranians hate the unites states government, if Obama gives his support to Moussavi, then Ahmadinijad will be able to use it and say '' look I'm the strong leader, Moussavi is the west's puppets. I think the US should stay out of this, each time america interfered with Iranian politics LOTS of people got killed

  • and i quote "We want to re-establish connections with the west!" -Iranian civilian (Moussavi supporter)

  • politicians say a lot of things -

Which reminds me, where's the change?

  • what a load of Crap! - Iranians do NOT hate us.

They all know like most Americans Bush was an asshole

but I agree the US needs to stay out of this.

And before you support or defend Moussavi you need to read his history.

Regardless, this it's not our business.

  • No no they don't know the difference between bush and the rest of america, they don't care about bush they hate the us since the cis overthrew their government in 1953, i don't support Moussavi, the point is that khamenei as got to do, and for that to happen Obama must not show support to anybody opposed to khamenei

  • You're an idiot. Most do not hate us, just like most here do not hate them or any other people.

    Stop feeding and creating bullshit

Turn off your TV for god's sake

  • Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt said, "Speak softly and carry a big stick." Not Ronald Reagan.

    Seriously, CNN Talking Head?

  • Who was the imminently intelligent woman who confused Reagan with Teddy Roosevelt? 1:03

  • Yeah, I want names and now.

  • Based on the obvious case of peroxide diffusion to the brain, it was either:

    A) Ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell who quoted ELVIS PRESLEY as saying "all the world's a stage." or...

    B) Dana Perino, famous for saying, during a White House press conference, that she didn't know what the CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS was because it happened before she was born.

(My money is on Perino. Only Fox invites Spece Girls to come on their shows in the guise of political pundits.)

  • But,Ahmadinejad denies the holocaust!

"OK,but that something I personally disagree with"

Damn, that guy needs to learn some arrogance. Tune his satellite TV to Fox News, and never admit when you're wrong.

What a pussy, even got called out by a girl.

  • The Ayatollah is the Cheney of Iran. Ahmadinedijadajkad is the Bush of Iran.

  • thats actually the best analogy I have ever heard and your exactly right hahahaha
