  • wheres the cops

  • What was the red flashing light in the cab as you pull up to the accident?

  • is that a speedometer to the right?

  • not a bad video, could have used a little more Q

  • congratulation a drive a firetruck

  • @HankySpanky51 there is nothing wrong with the q dummy

  • 1:44- GOOD MORNING!!

  • Good communication between Officer and Driver, Head sets are in use, nice siren and horn work, nice drivin. I overall have nothing bad to say, awesome video!

  • you live in fort collons i live in greeley

  • gotta hate those early morning calls

  • @WorldTechToday the inside cab cabinet is wired to the "open door" light. if you listen youll hear the roll up door go up and back down. that is when the light comes on and off. not sure why it is wired that way...

  • The siren is terrible. Sounds like a stuffed toy is stuck in it. Yuck.

There is nothing like a real Fed Q freewheeling. That's what makes a real fire truck. (Me = old school).

  • @HankySpanky51 ??? i promise you that is a Real Federal Q siren. Yes, the big one. It is a newer engine and it was pretty darn cold so it may sound different (plus the video is on the inside of the cab) but i assure you, it is the real thing. not the electronic one.

  • @Recelect < Great work with that siren too, no unnecessary ruckus. Also, highly commend you for not using silly electronic sirens on top of the Q. I can't tell you how annoying it is to hear an electronic over the Q or watch a vid with the Q pegged the whole way when there is frickin no-one on the road. Great job.

  • you were lucky at 2:30-end no traffic

  • Hey :D I was in Loveland, CO before 25 days :D

  • holy shit! people pull over w/ just lights!!!!!

  • need opticoms dude!

  • @WorldTechToday i would also like to know....

  • Love responses in the snow

  • This truck looks like a Pierce a little bit...

  • @WorldTechToday Typically that's to allow the driver and officer know when there's a compartment or cab door open while the truck is in gear. Someone may have opened the door prematurely, or perhaps something else. Not sure, it varies from truck to truck. That's just how my department has our trucks set up.

  • which firefighter are u of the three walking from the engine

  • bad enough you have to put up with crazy ass drivers but here you have to worry about icey/snowy roads.Sometimes it's more dangerous getting to the scene than the scene itself.

  • Nice Vid. Who was the engineer and LT that day?

  • Holy hell!!! Speed limit 75? Damn

  • sorry about that i kinda do sound like a total dick stay safe

  • what was the final for snow fall lol

  • must be nice to get brand new truck that sees action about 2 times a year in detroit our rig are shit and we almost see a working fire every other day

  • @coty734

You get new trucks, I worked for the company that made detroit 8 new identical Rescues in 1 year. I think it was 2003 or 4? I know there is a video on here of one rolled too.... I am sure you get more action, but no reason to be bitter about your trucks....

  • 6:12 scared me

  • whys the hell is everyone turning left. dumbass drivers

  • thats awesome i know exactly where you are at i live in greeley.

  • loveland colorado??? by Denver???

  • The two screen's (one on the driver side the other officer) are touch screens in which you can control pretty much everything such as lights, heat, exhaust break etc. my fire company recently purchased a 2010 crimson with these touch screens. Now if I am wrong please do let me know.

  • @tmwizkid nope, not wrong. They are a "multiplex" system made by Weldon engineering. The ones in this truck are the first generation of them. They are neat, and control alot of stuff.

I think there is a speedometer there too though...

  • @tmwizkid We just got some similar to that on our new engine tank (Spartan/Marion) only not touch screens

  • Is that a speedometer of the Officer's side?

  • probably the best lookin fire response I've ever seen.

  • very nice response video, one of my favourites! Not too fast and not too slow, nice use of the siren and horn, really liked it.

(also not too much snow :)

  • jesus, the speed limit is 75?! 4:32

  • what kind of engine is this?

  • @firefightercharles i don't remeber who built the body, but the cab is a Spartan gladiator classic.

  • Very nice to see you back up to make room for the "meat wagon"! Far too many Fire Dept's forget this??

  • I thought the engine started backing up by itself at the end ha ha.

  • ive been trin to find the good old loveland fire video for months!

  • Cool vid. Thanks for adding it.

  • interesting horn they got on there lol.. sounds very different

  • Very nice video! do you have any more to share?

  • I have looked through many of my tapes and I haven't found any more. I did film a field fire yesterday so I will get that posted soon. I am no longer a firefighter so getting new footage is difficult.

  • What was that red light for on the top of the window when they arrived on scene?

  • it is the "door ajar light". When I went to get the Med Kit out of the cabinet inside the cab (you can hear me rolling up the door) It set the light off. Stupid that the inside cabinet door is hooked to the door ajar light if you ask me...

  • great quality vid
