My bubble is burst. I thought it was only in the last century that artists were taking huge liberties in mis-representing people & culture. But don't blame technology 4 not having good representations of famous people, there were fantastic painters throughout history; blame cultural quirks, something about religion or superstition, fear maybe? Flash forward Look at all the fashion and make-up photos in magazines, the models themselves don't even recognize themselves ( too much technology! )
