how about a real time fractal zoomer ? "xaos" is around for about 5 years !!!

True, however xaos only supports floating point rendering. It can not zoom as "deep" into the fractal.
Xaos is a very nice program, and supports interpolating in a way that is not available is FastFractal256. Good luck with Xaos!
If you need deeper zooming than Xaos can do, give FastFractal256 a try ;-)

you don't need the gpu to perform the calculus... only 1% of my cpu :)
