Matt uses emg 81tw (bridge) and emg 89 (neck) and Corey probably uses the Seymour Duncan SH2N 'Jazz' (neck) and the Seymour Duncan TB4 'JB'pickups that comes with the jackson king v, but i'm not sure

I think they just chose the classic Trivium guitar's for this video and it dosn't have anything to do with sponsorship. Because they still use the Dean's for this song live.

They left Dean due to complications with their signatures and among other things. I don't know the full details. But both matt and corey don't like their signatures or how Dean was working with them.

matt supposedly has found a new company whereas Corey is still in the air where he wants to go. A possibility is DBZ Guitars,guy from Dean left because they wouldn't use his guitar models.
