I'm glad Donny Osmond and Kim Johnson won as they were my personal favorite,but if everyone was wondering....... if this contest was based solely on technique alone, Mya and Dimitri would have won,hands down. so yes,Mya and dimitri had the best technique if you are wondering if I can put personal feelings aside

This was the most disappointing part of the WHOLE season. I loved Mya but Dmitry really screwed her over. She was poised to win. When you have a dancer like Mya competing against Donny Osmond, you do it on her terms, not his. Donny is broadway, she is hiphop and sex appeal and Dmitry should have known that.

Okay, what I'm about to say is not racist in any shape, form or fashion because the following is true. Mya should have done a hip-hop routine instead of this. I've seen her dance hip-hop in her video "Lock U Down", and damn. I was so mad when I saw this freestyle because it didn't showcase Mya at all. Oh well, such is life.

This looked more like a 5th week Jitterbug....if that! Dmitry obviously didn't know how to make his partner shine, whereas Kym did. For Mya he should have done a Latin based freestyle. Mya's not so good at grabbing the audiences attention, wheras Donny is. To me if you can't get the character down, even if you have the dance steps, the dance is no good, its all about entertainment, which Donny had. I feel he was a perfect mix of Kelly and Mya. So glad he won!

@staxx091 This happened when Lil'Kim was eliminated as well.....but never pull the racist card. I'm sorry, but it's very immature and childish, even though Mya was definitely more expected to win. Her coming in second was a combo of her disappointing freestyle, the fact donny's showcased himself better in his, and his crazy fanbase. (PS: Donny was no where near my favorite, I liked Mya way more, but I know why she didn't win).

@whill1031 I couldn't agree more. I was a Donny fan, but thought Mya had a real shot until this Freestyle. Non caucasions have made it to the finals multiple times, and more than one has won. To throw out accusations of racism is nothing short of childish. Season four was the first one I watched and it wasn't until several seasons later that someone I liked finally won. I didn't cry about the show being racist or unfair when my favorites lost.

even though mya may be a better dancer technically, this dance compared to donny's tells that a dance is not so much about having the ability to dance, as much as it is having the ability to entertain. Me like to be entertained. You may have the technical ability to dance, but if you can not entertain us...you will not win. Donny entertained us. I am glad he won.

I loved this performance. Fun, fast and highlights what separated Mya from the others. Imagine Donny or Kelly even attempting this choreography and laugh at the absurdity of it.

Both Donny and mya's perfomances were to slow and boring get back to samba, or salsa, if not dancing with the stars will dry up...as a latino these hollywood type broadway musical routines are not even ballroom... nor night-club style dancing.. it's just flat out TACKY! and so well....old and so Oklahoma...eeek

It wasn't my favorite dance. Four dances...Mya dancing on a sprain ankle and chose not to cry about it. My opinion of them and their performances is and will always be AMAZING. Any other pro couldn't take the criticisms that Mya and Dmitry have taken and still manage to end up in the top two. They're human and will make mistakes but ones that they are willing to live with. Both Mya and Dmitry have no regrets nor do I. I will support them both in whatever journey that lies ahead for them.

But I will say this, as a avid So You Think You Can Dance watcher, Dmitry took so many moves from Donyelle and Benjis Hairspray routine and threw them in this one, the who last part was stolen LOL. He was Dmitry was on Season 2 with them.

mya is an amazing dancer, buti was really surprised when i watched this. i expected mya to come out &do an amazing routine, but i was really bored-- i kept waiting for it to get exciting &then it ended. i think it's between kelly &donny tonight.

This is nice, but she's done so much more entertaining routines in the past. If she loses tonight it won't be because of her performances up to this point. It will be because she selected a routine that wasn't up to her usual standards. That was followed by the last routine of the night which was making the most of the contestant's abilities and it was a crowd pleaser. I use to think Mya would win 100%. Now I say it's 50-50 her or Osmond. He's got a bigger fan base to vote too.
