How long did you wear a cast? How did you walk when it came off? Did you walk with a limp? I broke mine and just finished my first week since it happened. I get sharp pains in my ankle and foot....lots of aches. I can only sleep on my back and can't turn the ankle on its sides to sleep. It feels like blood is pooling in the bottom of my heel from it setting on the back of it all the time. It makes it very uncomfortable. Did you get this effect?
I had several casts over 3 months because my calf muscle waisted away and the casts became loose (this is normal). I still walk with a limp a year on as I only have 65% movement in the ankle. I had all the above effects. Stick a pillow under your ankle when you're in bed to raise it. That helps. With time it will get better. Mine still gives me disscomfort but nothing like the first 6 months. Good luck.

All three broken bones are healing really fast and I go back next week to get the cast off. That means I've only wore it for 3 weeks since I wore a splint the first week. He said I would be weight sensitive still, but as long as I dont get ignorant it will be fine without any further cast or boot. I still have to wait about 4 weeks before attempting to carry any weight beyond my own.
i broken my ankel 4 month bk and i found out it still broken so i am waiting for a new cast

i never got a cast in my life :I u guys r lucky u got ones i wish i would break my ankle but lightly not that i cant walk good for life
