Great, transparent video. My weakness is also sugar...those new frozen yogurt stores which are popping up all over the place! Your challenge is my challenge too. I'm reading a really good book right now called "The End of Overeating" which gets into great detail on the the subject you address. It dovetails nicely with the Weightloss Apololypse. Best to you this week!
@milnerb1 - Yeah, I am still having some cravings at the end of the evening, but resisting them - no Choco Delight either (and I have a bunch in the fridge!). I decided to get the book you mentioned - I'll download it to my tablet this morning and give it a read. I'm going to have to learn to eat snacks without sugar - fortunately there are a lot of raw recipes out there that look tasty without the processed sugar...
Hey, you...no beating yourself up. Treat this round like a blank sheet, and every loss is a good loss. Sugar addiction is tough. That's definitely your trigger food, and to say you can never have it again is unrealistic, but working on quality vs. quantity is the critical component in my opinion. You are doing great, friend. Good for you for "owning up" to your mistakes and staying on protocol. It's a process... but you are recognizing the core issue and working towards a healthier mindset. Hugs
@HCGBlondeAmbition - The quantity vs quality is the challenging part of enjoying sweets. Fortunately, now that I'm almost to week 3, my cravings are almost gone. But they're ready to pounce. I was just offered some free candy when I got a drink, but of course declined. And ghiredelli chocolate is hard to resist!
Thanks! I think that for the time being, I'm going to hold off eating the Choco delight. I want to see how not eating it affects me.. I'm also eliminating coconut oil until P3. My chocolate and sweet cravings are getting better, but I've still a ways to go.
Love the tee shirt! I really feel your frustration as I am there too. Just ordered Weight Loss Apocalypse and looking forward to reading and hopefully getting back on track better. Hope the Chocolate Delight helps get you through some of the rough patches. The mental hunger really does feel like a physical hunger at times. You will get there soon!
You are speaking my language. Slow losses, but I ate sugar over Christmas and I did this to myself too. Here's to us both getting bigger releases this week! Sugar is my demon to overcome as well. I'm praying as I become more aware by using the hunger scale that I will still be able to enjoy sweets, just not in excess. Great V log!
Terry! So weird that you've been back and my video logs haven't shown me your last 2 videos! grrrrr. Happy to see u back, I've been wondering how you've been! You've got this Terry!
