The history of Florida is amazing. My favorite concentrates on the growth of South Florida. George Merrick, Julia Tuttle, and all the other people who made South Florida what it is today.

Flagler and Plant gave Florida 2 astounding works of architecture: The Ponce de Leon Hotel (now Flagler College) and The Tampa Bay Hotel (now University of Tampa).
