THIS GAME WAS BEFORE JORDAN CAME BACK. PIPPEN HAD A GREAT GAME AND WAS HAVING ANTHOER MVP TYPE SEASON. MAKES ME LAUGH WHEN SKIP BAYLESS SAYS THAT SCOTTIE WAS A CREATION AND NOTHING WITHOUT JORDAN.
on hakeem, and the rocket guards couldnt keep up with the laker guards. and we all know, elden showed up when needed. sucks we never got to see this team grow. they brought in magic the following year. then after that came kobe and shaq. then they made nick a scape goat and traded him to denver for a bag-o-crap and eventually ran jerry west out of town....i think i speak for all the TRUE LAKER FANS when i say we love the 95 team.
actually i dont think dick motta ever coached the clippers. bill fitch i think was at the helm...but anyways TRUE LAKER FANS LOVE THIS LAKER TEAM. post magic. pre shaq/kobe. TRUE FANS SHOWED UP TO THE GW/FABULOUS FORUM....nick van exel in 95 was arguably the best pg in the nba. and was easily the MOST CLUTCH. he was lights out all year long in crunch time. true fans recall that they were 2 wins from the WCF. and they were undefeated against the rockets that year. matched up well. bodies to lean
Was this the game that dude Randolph Keys had to be wheelchaired out of there for the Lakers? LOL...at least he was really hurt, unlike Paula Pierce with his fake Willis Reed
Pippen had to do so much that season. The only reason this team was above .500 was because he was such a beast defensively...basically the greatest defense by a perimeter ever player ever was played by Pippen this season.
@LifeFirst Lakers would've been a 50+ win team that year w/o bad injuries to Ceballos and Eddie Jones. They won 48 gms as it was and upset Seattle in the 1st round. Absolutely no comparison to the Clippers that year, who won 15 gms. To give LAC a tiny bit of credit, they hustled their asses off that year under Dick Motta, but they had zero talent.
I cringed when I heard the names during the introductions. It just didn't seem right. Will Perdue. Pete Myers. Those guys cracked the starting lineup? If the starters are that bad I can't imagine what their bench looked like lol.
Pete Myers averaged 4.5 points a game and shot 41% that year. They replaced the G.O.A.T with a scrub that probably wouldn't even make the D-League today.

Their bench was on the wrong side, the rims were tight and just lacked the magic of the Stadium,

I remember all the players esp Jordan and Pippen said those things.

Man I wish the Bulls crowd these days would be as good as before. Even that year they sold out every game.

That team before Jordan's return was almost unwatchable. Losing to the Clippers, Lakers at home...just ridiculous.

I remember this was around all the hype that Jordan was coming back. If you look at Pippen's feet he was wearing the X's
