Ok Not To Be Mean But I Play Way Better Than That. Im 12 And In The 6th Grade And I Have A Way Harder Solo Than That Its Called Ruby. I Have To Play 16th Notes. And High C And F. So Sorry Just Saying . You Do Sound Better Than My Sister. And Shes Been Playing For 5 Years. So Yea,..... And My Solo Is Tommarow
what a clear tone. No squawks. Keep practicing and don't pay any attention to rcore14. I just got a trombone and I sound like a sick goose compared to you.
on my first solo and ensamble i got a high superiorand my song was very hard but yours looked harder than mines your very good for a sixth grader better than the others in my section
Thats great! She is wonderful and I love it! She is sharing space on youtube with some of the greatest trombone players ever. I was looking at them when I came across this video. Keep playing sister! If anyone out there thinks band students are geeks...................you need to look at some Trombone Shorty.................and then eat your shorts!
It's so great seeing such young talent :) I'm an all state trombonist from the state of texas, and I must say that I dont remember sounded that good or being that dedicated at such a young age. To go out of your way to make a video shows marvelous passion for what you do. The Key to everything you do is to always work hard and love every ounce of it. You are going to do great things.
Good job! I play trombone too, but I've been playing for 5 years. Have fun with it! In my band, we're playing this cool Sousa March called The Thunderer. See if you can find music, it's really fun to play! You can do it!
I'm just going to offer a few tips. But good job!! First, open your teeth. This will improve your sound greatly. Another thing, relax. Do not be tense while playing it will make you worse. Third. BE READY! when playing you should be ready at LEAST an entire measure before you start to play. And breath. Make sure to breath for at least 2 counts before playing. The more advanced you get you can get away with less but I recommend 2. Another thing, if you are truly serious about the instrument, get
lol well done, i did this solo back in 8th grade. A few tips though, dont pull the horn away from your face, or put it down. If your horn is ready, your body is ready, therefore you are ready. it looks nicer too. Another tip, if you keep your arms up/horn angle up while keeping an even upper lip:lower lip rate on the mouthpiece, you'll probably find that your sound quality will improve dramatically, not that its bad, but it just could be a plus. did you happen to find out the rating?
that solo. Emerald. that was amazing for an eleven year old to play that. I played that in my 8th grade solo and ensemble and got a superior rating but I could not have imagined playing that in my first year of playing. if you are going on to state, try using a metronome in order to get those 16th notes right in time all the time, but otherwise, GREAT JOB. NEVER STOP PLAYING THE TROMBONE>
I play trombone and that is really good 😃

TIP: hold your Trombone out flat, not down at a angle, this gives toward a better look , clearer sound and a loader sound.
