The two kids were obsessed with a game "Renegade Massacre", I think it was called. They took it a little too seriously though, and when the girl told them to kill everyone, they did because of the way they were treated by all the jerks.

Would those two have simply carried a shotgun and a submachine gun into a mall just to walk back out again, after at least a month's planning- probably more? The others, especially Tina, blamed themselves too much. Cameron and Neil were gonna shoot up the mall anyway. Tina just egged them on and got them to do it sooner. That's all the difference she made.

This was by far the bst Cold Case episode but the most shocking due to its very close resemblence to the 20/4/99 Columbine High School shootings by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold,,,

In this episode thy even featured the Tech 9 semi Automatic Assult rifle... nasty.

@jonlee29- This is indeed an excellent and noteworthy episode. My favorite, personally. The Tec-9 is a submachine gun or machine pistol, as far as I know. It certainly does not qualify as an assault rifle.
