I used to play it at Marvelous Marvins Mechanical Museum in Michigan.

Was awesome how you could chop off a characters arms and legs.

I remember TimeKillers, but I never knew about this. That's some pretty good animated gore, dare I say it's almost more provocative than MK or MK II was at the time? Eternal Champions and the follow-up Challenge From The Darkside still hold the trophy for sickest fatalities in my opinion.

@Xfactor12345 I don't know how good the new MK is, but the three MKs before it were OK at best and Armageddon, though AWESOME for expert-caliber combo hunting (according to some of the shit I've seen), was retarded as fuck. Air combo infinites? Hastily slapped-together universal fatality system? Limited preset battle plans? FAIL. At least it's KAF was decent.

Midway's OK, but if Strata knew how to stick around longer they'd be tough competition today. They made good games too, dammit.

@TetsuoYagami your right the infinite combo was a major flaw in the early MKs, the rest of the stuff couldve easily have been improved.

But this game was made to knock midway out of the competition and by doing so they failed and ended up knocking themselves out instead.

The real tragedy about Blood Storm is how Tremor gets the only "good" ending. Tempest gets executed, Fallout lets the planet sink into World War IV, Razor gets his revenge on Talon but sends us back to the Stone Age, Talon turns everyone into the Borg, Freon turns into a dick and enslaves everyone, Mirage locks all living males in a big slave camp and Hellhound just goes RAGE!!! and burns the living fuck out of the whole planet.

So either play Tremor and build Utopia...or suck forever. >:-)

While the graphics and animations of Time Killers and Blood Storm left something to be desired, I liked how these games gave us dismemberment as a tactical tool. Don't like how Matrix is spamming her telescoping punches? Chop off her left arm. Razor's being an annoying bunny-jumper? Chop off his legs.  And if your opponent's being slow, predictable and stupid, lop off his or her head and win the round instantly. Problems solved.
