Thats 0-60 in 4.6, think its probably 250hp not standard as i thought

Still got the original anglia axle and halfshafts

And no wing mirrors, seat belts, fog or reversing lights.

" 8.1 Mirrors Information Obligatory mirror options are: a. an exterior mirror fitted to the offside (right-hand side when seated in the driver’s seat), or b. an exterior mirror fitted to the nearside (left hand side when seated in the driver’s seat), or c. an interior mirror. Passenger vehicles with no more than 7 passenger seats first used before 1 August 1978 must have any one of the above options. " "

i think that it is a coswroth but on an auto box due to the fact the owner is in a wheel chair :S i may b wrong

Its a standard 2 litre cosworth with a 4 speed auto from a granada. .

had to adapt the standard flex plate to suit the cossy crank bolt patern, and sort out the lack of vacume to the modulator which is what controls the shifting.

On the day of the video at bruntingthorpe,the 4th gear was burnt out. Box since rebuilt, vacume problem solved, all sorted now by automatic transmissions, Hornchurch.

U should get a shift kit, they have alsorts of funny things for em, sequencial gear change with reverse lock out being one.

U can also tune out gear overlap but it makes the changes very sharp!

Why the auto box?

good idea although what effect does turbo lag have on an auto?

Granada never had a 2.0l cosworth engine... Sierra has a 2.0 turbo . granada scorpio have 2.9 24v cosworth

Actually it sounds like a 2 speed auto!

The first change sound is the torque converter catching up, must be a powerflite or

something, not a ford box!

I think the bellhousing etc from a 2.0 auto is same on 2.0 and v6?

I know autos have been fitted to both and the 4 pot cossy is an uprated 2.0 block apart from early ones that split?
