So many have been doing the"The Nutcracker," following the same formula. It's nice to see these modern innovators try and shake things up some.

Magnificent without question. She has all her own fire to this one. She moves with aggression. For the longest time, I said no one did the Sugar Plum like Gelsey Kirkland the way Baryshnikov choreographed for her. She is something. She belongs on this program. But I have to ask... who was that mysterious masked woman?

im doing this song for the end of the year performance n my teacher said she is probaly the oonly person in the world with the nerve to extend and alter the song XD i have to do different moves then her but for 3 and a half minutes

I love the darker costume, I usually see light coloured ones for the sugar plum fairy. Her technique is impeccable but I must agree that her wrists bother me.

@pitaten01 It's a tension thing. She's trying too hard to be graceful because she's nervous, her fingers are stiff too if you look. Although I doubt she's more than 15 so we should be understanding :)
