Strangly, Luigi and Donkey Kong has buffed throughout the series. Reasons why for Luigi (From Melee to SSBB): He has much stronger attacks and his back throw. His D-Air and F-Air was weakened signifcantly, but they are much faster and still strong for an aerial. His smashes are stronger (mainly F-Smash). Reasons for DK For Melee to SSBB: His attacks have more reach, power, speed, etc. His recovery is better, his B-Down has more range and damage. His U-Smash now hits grounded foes.

Also, here`s a suggestion, if Mewtwo was in N64, do ya`ll think he would`ve buffed or nerfed from that game? King Dedede, I know was supposed to rank high in N64, decently low in Melee, and back to his related-high tier status. Bowser, if he was in N64, was ranked decently high, severely nerfed in Melee, and slightly buffed in Brawl. Guys! It`s a chain-like...thing! If you`re ranked high in N64 you nerf (with the exception of Fox, Mario, and Capt. Falcon)and if you ranked low you buff!

Mewtwo was supposed to be in the original N64 Smash Bros Game, but was cut out due to Time and Space restraints. The other 5 who shared this problem was Bowser, Peach, King Dedede, Pit (another reason for Pit is problems for his wings animations), and Meowth (who didn`t get to be playable in any game). Wario was supposed to be Melee, but was replaced by Dr. Mario due to him not be a recognizable character. Although his, Pit, and King Dedede`s trophy is in the game.
