no you cant put them on both sides of the BB the axle wont slide all the way through only upto theend of the spline/threaded area because it's thinner there.
can someone help me please i have dmr cult cranks and i ordered a hope bottom bracket the other day and when i got it the hole in the bottom bracket was too big to fit my cranks as thay are 19 mm is there any way to make them fit
I've just fitted this on my new bike.. but noticed that the adapters in the bottom bracket don't spin with the bearing on the non drive side. Is that normal??
You know what would be really great? If you made a bb30 bracket for bsa frames - like Rotor's bsa30, but certified for dh, fr. With bb30 starting to gain attention (v10, Descendants), that would allow those with bsa frames to benefit from these components.

@frrrrrrunkisdotcom it's a Hope adaptor, for Hope bottom brackets and Truvativ chainset. I've not tried, but it wont work with a Shimano.
(You're better with the better bearings in a Hope anyhow ;-))

But how the hell do you get the Converters off when you need to change the bearings!?

@QBixxy with a drift/punch. easy.

@eighteenbikes Thanks, ive sorted it now. Tapped it off with a punch! Was much easier than i expected.

not sure I fully understand what the conversion was. From what-to what?

@DOTdirtbiker from standard (ie shimano fit) bottom bracket to allow use of truvativ (gxp) cranks.

wow, you really muscled that on at the end... do you think a torque wrench is necessary?

may the gods be with truvativ and truvativ be with the gods!

Cool vid. I dont rate Truvativ cranks very highly though, they always seem to require tightening. But hey thats just my experience.
