how dd you resist not cutting through that bad boy and tasting it! i'm preparing to cook my first marble cake loaf soon i will let you know how it goes!
can anyone please tell me how to get this effect iam trying to make a chocolate cake and after mixing pouring the batter in the pan i want to add peanut butter (softened) to get a marble look to it, i plan to either make chocolate frosting or peanut butter frosting to frost it with? any help?
@sebastainknight in my video I did half vanillia and half chocolate. What you can do is once you have made your dough, split it in half. then make half of it chocolate and in the other half you mix in the peanut butter. then for the mable effect do as I did. I but a spoonful of chocolate in the pan then a spoonful of vanillia (in your case vanillia peanut butter) then when your done take a fork and gentle mix the dough. that will really give you that mable look you desire. hopefully i could help
Loved it!! :)

i notice most cake recipes from scracth dont call for milk or water to be added like msot cake mixe in boxes is this common?
sebastainknight 5 months ago
@sebastainknight yes.

do you have to use heavy cream, or could you just use milk???????
tryd1s 6 months ago
@tryd1s heavy cream makes it taste could and make it a little fluffy. I am not sure if milk would do the same
VeronicaCooks 5 months ago
do you need to put bread crumbs??
ewitsdoris 6 months ago
@ewitsdoris: no, you could also substitute the bread crumbs with flour. they both just help the cake from not sticking to the form.

if you put 50/50 vanilla in each bowl and added chocolate to one... wouldn't the one with chocolate have more batter in it? o.O
MaikoIchigo 1 year ago
@MaikoIchigo no not really, because the melted chocolate doesn't add much to the volume
