The right to "Privacy" if such a right exists, does not extend to a crime and cannot, therefore, be absolute. This process (abortion) has, until recent history, been considered a crime in civilized countries. Propaganda elicits and emotional response in absence of factual content. What about the slogan: "A woman's right to choose." It implies choice is more important than other considerations such as good, just, or right.

The right to privacy has long been cherished by American citizens; moreover, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld the right to privacy as an inherent Constitutional right time and time again. Violating a woman's right to bodily privacy is a stepping stone to tyranny.

Look for the "right to privacy" in the Constitution. You won't find it. The Supreme Court created it in 1973 to apply to a mother's choice to kill her baby. In the ruling, the chief justice said he doesn't know when life begins but granted a right for a woman to kill the life inside of her. What kind of twisted logic is that? If you don't know when life begins, why err on the side of murder? It's really the inalienable right to life that was taken away and replaced by a made up right to privacy.

Any student who's taken even the most basic of courses in American government knows that the right to privacy is not in the Constitution, which is why I expressly stated that it had been upheld numerous times by the Supreme Court. It is an undeniable part of our national consciousness. You want to take away this "made up" right to privacy? You say it's not real? Then prepare to have your liberty violated. You don't realize how much you depend on this right that you abhor.
