And the beatles indeed werent that great live. Just the technique of the drummer made it impossible to perform for long. But at least they didnt degrade themselves badly in concert.

They were a great band, but quite similar in the way that Madonna and Britney Spears are great. They were a product, one of a kind back in those days.

But the times have changed a lot since. Technically, it really wasnt that great. In fact, it's a mess compared to todays standards.

Comparing Alphabeat to the Beatles is a lot like comparing a modern amateur guitarist to Jimi Hendrix. Of course today we have many guitarists and bands that exceed that level of performance by far.
