@hannahelizabeth9216 Hey ! I think the intro is played with 2 guitars, but nevertheless I managed to play the whole thing note for note with one guitar. :D But I don't have a video cam to show you. I LOVE LOVE THAT SONG ! Bethany Dillon is amazing. The Imagination album is definitely her best album.

Hmm. I've done all the tunings perfectly but for some reason it just doesn't sound the same for me =/ The chorus in particular just sounds really tuneless.

I JUST started listening to your music. I have a difficult time with many Christian artists sounding the same or saying the same thing as everyone else; cookie-cutter musicians. Even though they might not be, for some reason I just find myself getting annoyed & turning off the radio.

You know, I've been playing For My Love when I go out busking - I just learned it by ear and ended up with a much less complicated version than this, haha, but I'm pleased to find out that my version isn't far off! In standard tuning (no capo), if you play E, A2, Bsus, and C#m7, you can get roughly the same sound. Though I think I will try the actual version demonstrated here, to compare the two!

Yeah, mine was actually the G string, too. I thought it was the B, but then I went to play it a few minutes after I posted and looked again, and it was the G also! Now it feels weird to play...hehe especially because more songs I sing are in D, I don't like it missing!

how do u tune it to alternate tuning?

if you have an electric tuner, just set it to the note that it is supposed to be on (you are changing the 4th string from the bottom to a B and the 3rd string from the bottom to the high E) and then tune it until you get that note.

Careful though... because I broke a string trying it! :)

I Have a question! How many instruments did you use for the original track? I noticed at least 3 acoustic guitars, and a bass guitar.
