@Soulfree2008 Killing Is My Business...and Business is Good, imo is a better debut than Kill em All imo, and Bonded By Blood comes in second, then Kill 'em all :) But those three are by far better than any other debut thrash albums. So incredibly mean and catchy at the same time.

@codebabe no I love Megadeth, I just always thought KillemAll was better than KillingIsMyBusiness... but its all good, I dont insist everyone has the same opinion as me, lol... Funny how those three bands/albums are tied together somewhat not only in style but even member wise, with Dave Mustaine having just left Metallica but helped with KillemAll, and Kirk just joining Metallica having helped with Bonded by Blood. In fact, Im pretty sure thats a cartoon Kirk on the cover :)

@Soulfree2008 Anthrax is rad..my second favorite thrash band behind Megadeth. Megadeth outlasted all of them in terms of album making. They didn't make a lame album until Cryptic Writings. Slayer became flat out irrelevant after Seasons. I'm not into Metallica past the Black Album. I never understood how a band like Slayer could be more successful than Anthrax who are clearly better if you go down the criteria. Tighter, better vocals, catchier riffs, more versatile, better leads, etc.

@Soulfree2008 I don't mind mainstream music as long as it's done well. Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia are great examples of that. Though I will admit that Rust in Peace was thier peak. Reload and Load are just bad.lol I don't care for Anthrax's John Bush era past Sound of White Noise. All the Belladona stuff is great.

@codebabe yeah, Seasons was so good, even my Mom was into it! Seriously! lol... Honorable mention to Flotsam too (for NoPlaceForDisgrace, and even Doomsday)...I never cared too much for Anthrax really i guess. But yeah, By the time the Black Album/RustInPeace/Seasons had passed, I had moved on to deathier territories with Corpse, Death, Carcass, Gorguts, etc... Then into blacker stuff like OldMansChild, Dimmu, Emperor, etc..

@Soulfree2008 As I said I still love Countdtdown to Extinction and Youthanasia but I'm only 23, so all that music is all new to me. Just really got into thrash in the past 3 years. In general I consider myself a rocker, I'm not too into death or black metal to be honest. I'm more into Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Led Zeppelin. For death metal one band I do like a lot is OpethI'm really into modern metal bands that are prog and math influenced like Mastodon and Dillinger Escape Plan.

@codebabe If you have never checked out Death (with the late Chuck Shuldiner) I would definitely do so... they arent satanic in nature. I dont listen to death/black metal for the lyrics at all, I just love the song structures and sonic atmosphere they provide... However I also am into classical as well, from Chopin and Bach to De'visse and Handel... Im 36 tho, so Ive witnessed this music change as it happened...this been a great convo, thanks for that :)

Steve Souza took over afterwards, but I'm unsure exactly how many albums he did with Exodus.

The current vocalist is Rob Dukes, he's done a few albums with Exodus... I'm personally not favouring him over Baloff, but he's good nevertheless!
