  • Re IPhone. Apple do whatever THEY want. I don't think they care what the customers want. Why else would they have fixed memory in their phone? Buy a new phone to get an extra 8Gb of memory? With Android you just pay $20 then pop it in the slot.

  • Yes, its 4g Vs 3g. BUT its still a valid test. Right now you can buy Iphone on 3g, slow, OR HTC Velocity on 4g VERY VERY fast. 100 seconds to download a 350Mb movie? to a PHONE? true. CRAZY FAST. I also noted that the speed test depends on if TELSTRA are hosting the speedtest on not. Just log off then restart the speed test & it should end up TELSTRA. The 4g is so fast. Its the OTHER end that slows it down.

  • This is a funny comedy sketch. 4g vs 3g. Hilarious.

  • @lamac49 lol he just wants to show how fast 4g is

  • Oops 100 seconds..

  • My Velocity 4G just downloaded a 350mb HDTV show in 100 minutes. Sure its the network that is FAST. But so is the phone. It's faster than most HOME BROADBAND...WOW.

  • its much better to test one phone at a time for network tests, not like doing all at once where phones compete to get access to the network

  • NIGAHHH HAS 3 ARMS!

  • @IzaHackAlotDOIT4LULS you rock! hahahahaaaaaaaa!!! awesome!

  • You fools. The "test" wasn't on the phone's. They simply got the most common phone's on the market with 3G and then put it up against the Velocity which is 4G to give you a general idea on the speed the difference the 4G has on 3G. It's a GENERAL mobile network speed test not phone test.

  • Is the HTC velocity on a $39 Telstra plan?

  • what the hell , I'm in canberra with view of the telstra tower on black mountain , and yet my velocity won't switch to 4g

  • @joshsdad1 actually, the 4g network has been in press release for about 4 months, the actual wireless devices are out, and even before the release of 4g there were hundreds of people using them. 4g is always going to be faster, even after they offer connection to the homes

  • those baggin this video are obviously isheep. The fact is - Can your iphone access the 4G network? The answer is NO - Why - Because your iphone uses old technology. Apple may have changd the phone market but they fall so far behind so quickly. Enjoy your 3g speeds you sooks!!!!!!!

  • @joshsdad1 iphone uses old technology? most phone can only access 3G in Australia no use having a 4G phone unless you live/work in the CBD. it will be at least a year or two before 4G becomes the norm, by then iphone 5 will be 4G.

    No I don't own a iphone, I have a galaxy nexus.

  • This is what happens when a idiot gets a camera...

  • this is a horrible review considering the fact one is 3g and the other is 4g, no shit 4g is better... you sir are an idiot

  • holy shieet, thats faster than my home internet, screw you tpg ;(

  • @WAHTTHEDIEW you have pelican internet

  • stupid guy, working for HTC and doing stupid test,

  • Congratulations on compiling the most useless test ever made.

  • Comparing 4G to 3G is like comparing a motorbike to a BMX

  • the 4g network has not been released in Australia yet. This is not a real test that takes into account network congestion and day to day use.

  • @phrO1986 Actually you will find that the 4G network has been available in Australia with Telstra for quite some time now. Might be worth knowing what your talking about before you talk

  • @joshsdad1 Really? FYI the velocity will be the FIRST 4g phone launched in australia. . what I said still applies. The 4g network has noone on it. Wait untill it becomes oversold and congested. Speed will then depend on the area and how many users are connected to the same tower. STFU and sit down

  • @phrO1986 4G has been released in Australia, limited but it's here!

  • holy shit was checking the time ..12:31 on my phonee too

  • saw those nice animations and smoothness of the iphone...wow.

  • But do we NEED it... Where is all this bullshit going. I want to live in the olden days or move into the jungle.

  • this is such a stupid comparison...... 3g vs 4G.. thats like bmw vs Hyundai..

  • @mIRCmAN Hyundai excel?

  • @mIRCmAN no no Ferrai vs Hyundai

  • @mIRCmAN it was apple's choice to not include 4G...

  • @mIRCmAN how is it stupid? it was apple's choice not to include 4g..

they instead made another stupid antenna.

  • the iphone does not support 4g it is 3g with some tweaks

  • had nothing to do with what brand the handset was any 4g should beat a 3g

  • @Nik91T Well da, the point of it is to show the fastest one, thats it. The iphone cant beat it, and that is the point. It doesnt matter if you are racing a 2002 Lancer and a 2012 BMW, the race would show the clear winner! Thats what comparing does lol

  • @Nik91T chill its still interesting to see the difference between the 3g and 4g networks regardless of the phone brand...

  • HTC WOOOOOOO!

  • the "Begin" button was pressed a tad later than the other two

  • @blacksunshine176 doesnt make a fkn difference.. raelly. :|

  • @blacksunshine176 that doesn't matter.

  • @blacksunshine176 is that supposed to do something?

  • @blacksunshine176 dumbass

  • i dunno, it seems a bit bias due to the channel supporting htc.

    but meh! 8x faster =O

  • HTC rocks

  • Dont worry youngwhite stick with pedal power.

  • Who cares about 4g

  • Just HTC ever!

  • Oh my god...i want 4G NOW :)
