@gbo559 you mustav been racing a grandma or someone who can drive worth a shit. As much as I love the G37, IS350 is really fast. Got both IS350 and G35 6MT in my garage. IS350 kills the G35. Kills it. G37 is faster than G35, but two cars? not buying it

@normalais easy two cars, these g37 sedan have done 13.5@105.x in the magazines, owners can always get quicker/faster times (if they're not idiots)

@normalais They are both about the same spec wise actually ... definitely dont think the G can beat the IS350 by two car lengths ... but they are close enough to say that its really the better driver who will win.

does it have a lot of low end torque? I was chillin with my friend in his 08 Audi A4 and damn that thing has really good pickup off the line...once he got up to 4k rpm i was getting pushed back in my seat pretty hard...how would the G37 compare in this respect?

@nabizzle123 My G37 with VDC off is fast after you get past around 25 mph. Off the line if i floor it the tires spin out and its hard to control with one hand. I have 245 in the front and 285 staggered in the back and it still spins out. But i think i can do a 25-60 pull in 3 seconds or less. Mines got stillen headers, borla exhaust, AFE SRI, and hypertech ecu waiting on the stillen high flow cats due to a programming error and getting it tuned when i get the cats.

Thats because its a body on frame truck and its built in Tennessee, my pathfinder rides like a brick but my G35 sport is firm but smooth.

Yes. If my sources are correct it they are limited to 155mph (a standard for most sporty cars).

I dont think it can beat an IS... look at some of the acceleration vids of the IS350... Its ridiculous.. I just got smoked by one the other day, some guy has it going to 60 in 4.6 secs!! stock

4.6 seems a bit too low but yes the Lexus IS350 is faster then the G on a straight line, at least from a stop. The higher HP in the G might make if faster from... lets say... 45mph roll.

However I'd still take the G over the IS350 since its more of an enthusiasts car due to more precise steering, tighter suspension, and manual.

If you want the MOST reliable car, amazing interior, respected brand, and straight line speed then Lexus IS350. If you want more excitement, go with the G.

g37, 335i, is350, 350z, mazda speed3.... all these cars perform simillar performance it all depends on drivers but HP is HP and Torque is Torque you can't ignore those numbers,,,more Hp would eventually win and less hevier cars will show show quickness. that's all...

this is a sports sedan there is a sports package that you can get on it that includes and areo dynamics kit and some more stuff plus you can't argue with 325hp

test drive both because they both have great features. bmw will shoot you to 60mph faster and will have better, more neutral handling. infiniti has nicer features and options and sounds nicer when just accelerating normally since the engine has a louder,deeper tone. and it will still handle,too. the better car is the bmw, but you will definitely not regret getting the infiniti if you get that instead

i wouldnt know so much about the g37, but my 2008 g35 has a bit of lag in D but very minimal lag in DS...handling is great and from what i know they havent changed that from the 2008 to 2009 models
