claro puerto plata es la ciudad mas Hermosa,yo naci hay y siguo viviendo en esa ciudad hermosa,siempre salgo los fines de semana a playa dorada a entretenerme,lo mejor de puerto plaat es que vende los mejores pescados de maimon jeje,I love puerto plata 4ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The city part is bustling and very busy but there's so much to see you kinda dont mind. I hope you enjoy, I believe you will want to return, you will make many 'friends' but watch out coz some are thieves and con artists, most will just friendly and hopeful you may tip them well or will expect being looked after for taking you around the place but it is worth it to see all the nature and other natural beauty.

Definately do the waterfall trip and safari, really great day out, also the horse riding trip is fantastic, the quad bikes are a lil dangerous and you can get burns from the steam on your legs so make sure you cover up, I saw many an accident...not nice. Nightlife is great in Puerto Plata, the malecon is nice at night too, the food is usually great everywhere..it is cheaper and more traditional if eaten outside of the tourist area (Playa Dorada ends)
