this is nothing new, the problem is there are so many different locks. the only time it works well is a new housing area as all teh locks are the same. which is why you should change your locks.

our house have double lock stances.. so click#1 turn it around again click #2 + 90 extra degrees turning.. u cant.. break open our house.. SO BETER LOCKS DOES WORKS!(btw we also have like 3 pins from our door to the house.. takes to much pressure to open it this way.. BETTER LOCKS FTW :D )

it says there that u need 2 go 2 a locksmith, but really u can make a bump key at home. even if u dont have a grinder, u can use a file and the key is done in about 20 min.

no because most locks have the manufacturers name on the lock on the outside and the part of the key you grip has a distinct look or shape ..for example I can almost always tell a key for a kwikset or a schlage just by seeing the key so a thief would just need to get familiarr with waht shape key goes with wich brand of lock

If you are at home make sure that the key is inside the locker and turned to any direction. this way NO one can open it from outside even if he had the same locker key.

try it! to keep safe of your family inside your house.

Since it works on the principle that the end pin jumps up, why not just place an extra pin in the lock that will pop up, leaving the 2nd to last pin still below the shear line? That would be an easy fix. New locks could just be redesigned with an extra pin in each slot and old locks could be retrofitted with extra pins. There are other designs that I can imagine for new locks to easily fix the problem.

It seems to me, the brass pins have heavy mass/kinetic energy/momentum, makes them jump up against too-weak springs. Suppose, just suppose, you replace the brass pins with something ultra-light, and add tiny spacers on top of the springs to tighten them up a little bit.
