  • And the chick was in "Waiting for God".

  • Did Kids in the Hall rip this sketch off?? They have one very similar to this..

  • @sicstyl Fry and Laurie did this for their 4th series (season) while The Kids in the Hall did their sketch in their 1st season. I believe the years are 1995 versus 1988-89 respectively. It would seem that The Kids were the first of the two.

  • @Intoxicatious KITH lawyers were gerald and gerry? here theyre richard and dick

  • Love a bit of the ol' Tom Waits

  • The male client really looks like Hitchens!

  • @switchaka345 i said that too! lol

  • TOM WAITSSSS

    RAWRRRRR

    :)

  • This is how relationships should start off- honest and legally binding lol lol

  • That guy (Tuppy Glossop) looks like Christopher Hitchens...

  • Stephen's hair is oh so shiny and perfectly parted.

  • Dr. Ormerod?

  • My client would like to insert um...insert...a clause in the agreement.

  • So this is how the British have sex? Can't say I'm surprised.

  • Holy crap, Kids In The Hall either deliberately or unknowingly ripped this off! Anyone else seen the sketch I'm referring to? Bruce and Mark as Gerald and Gerald the businessman negotiating a sexual exchange. Look up 'Kids In The Hall - Lawyers and Date' on YouTube.

  • Every contract should have a Tom Waits clause.

  • Fax Nick which hand up skirt :D

  • is it just me or does the male client look like Christopher Hitchens?

  • Is that Robert Daws?

  • HOUSE!

  • "My client would like to insert... ... ... a clause."

    Sssuuuuuuurrrrrreeee......

  • This sketch was just flipping hilarious until this line was spoken:

    "Fancy a steamy sex romp?"

BECAUSE THEN IT WAS JUST FUCKING HOT

SHOW US THE UNCENSORED SKETCH PLEASE

YOU KNOW THE ONE THAT I'M IMAGINING RIGHT NOW

  • Tuppy Glossup!

  • "Putting a hand up your clients skirt and having a bit of an old feel" - and who said Romance was dead. Ha Ha. Classic stuff.

  • omg it's tuppy :D

  • LOOL

  • I'm sure if all dates were arranged like this it would make them more hilarious (and well thought out for all lololz)

  • Looks like Tony Blairs abut to get some.

  • "uh.. a 'bit of an old feel'..."

  • I wonder which was first.... Kids in the Hall, or Fry and Laurie... I'm fairly sure the KitH sketch was in the 1991 season, but i could be wrong...

  • it was there first season, while FAL were up to 4 I think...hmm

Its funny in this they lawyers are richard and dick, and in the other are gerald and gerald.

Oh who cares, they're both excelent shows, and both handled quite well.

  • @mapend I think Fry and Laurie was first. But I'm not entirely sure either.

  • Tuppy! : D

I love all of this. xD

and Huge's 'stach seems thicker in this one than the one he shocked Jeeves with in his fugly coat. : 3

  • Is that Jane from "Waiting for God?"

  • Yeah! Tuppy! The first two minutes I was just wondering where I knew that face from until I remembered.

  • Ah, Tuppy. Slingsby's Soups my ass.

  • I SAY!! its tuppy!!

    What ho, Tuppy!

  • Hullo!

  • Tuppy!

  • good stuff. oh, and a tom waits clause should always be mandatory.

  • Does anyone know the exact date this episode aired?

Because Kids in the Hall did a very similar sketch bit and I'm interested to know who came up with the idea first...

  • well it was definitely in the 90's, 1992 maybe? and are you suggesting fry and laurie of playgerism? if that is the right word which i doubt it is lol =D

  • The man to Stephen's right was Tuppy in Jeeves & Wooster!! :)

  • Tuppy, old chap :D

  • Absolutely awesome!!!

  • what is the last thing that hugh l. says?

    in the end?

  • Sounds like "Fancy steamy sex romp?" to me ;)

  • SPOILER alert ;))

  • With Hugh Laurie: god yes!!

  • Bit more of "Fancy a...?" in which 'fancy' is a verb meaning "Do you feel like making out?"

  • Yes please hugh! ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @lapislazuli7 No, no. Ah, no I just meant, what else did someone else hear?

  • @I4gotmyMANTRA I cannot say... Somebody just asked for the last line. It might seem silly to a lot of people to repeat what was said in the clips but it can be helpful for foreigners!! ;)

  • @lapislazuli7 Of course. :) It's a great line, anyways...
