A few tips:

To do a trick, press the R button when you are about to go in the air

You can only glide if you see a blue boost

When you see the number 2 before the race, press the A button to prepare for a large boost.

You can only glide when you go over a blue boost and also you shouldn't throw all your items straight away, hold them behind you so if a shell comes at you, you won't get hit. :)

i know a trick if you are lucky enough in toads cuircut you use the flying thing to go up on the roofof thpart when there was a tunnel

I have few tips for you! You should drift at almost every turn you see. Drifting is very helpful. Also when using karts, wheels, and gliders, you probably want to have good stats. When using items, its useful to save some mushrooms, for some new shortcuts or ones you recognize from Retro Courses. Also, when you see a ramp, you always want to do a trick by pressing the R button! Another thing is to collect coins in the race! A maximum of 10 coins will give you more speed! Hope this helped! :)

@xFegzx You can only dodge a blue shell with a mushroom in MK7. i believe. when it comes, right before it hits you, shroom and your should dodge. in MKW you could shroom, or use mega to dodge. hope this helped, and good luck karting :)

You asked about the glider. Only blue ramps let you use the glider. Also, if you press R when you go off a ramp you do a trick (like Mario Kart Wii) and you get a speed boost.
