  • Its a great shame politicians worldwide don't share the common bond ALL railway loving people share - if they did, maybe this world would be a LOT BETTER PLACE ! Fantastic video. Greetings from England.

  • Thank you for your reply, very beautiful locomotive, how many have remained in use?

  • Looks like to me a model steam locomotive Henshelov remanded used by us in Yugoslavia.

  • @MrMilojkovic PKP class Ol49 was a class of steam engine used in Poland by the PKP. A total of 116 were built between 1951 and 1954, 112 for the PKP and four for export to North Korea, by Fablok in Chrzanow.

  • Who is the manufacturer of the locomotive and kakos is named exactly the same model.

    Изговор

  • @MrMilojkovic This is a Polish construction.

  • Great video!

I was in Wolsztyn in March 2007, probably just a few days before this video was made. It was a great experience to see three steam locomotives in daily service and riding behind them!

  • @formiga1950 Thanks. Nice to meet you.

  • I'd be hungry and thirsty too after a day like that! These beauties are alive, its good to seem some getting treated like they deserve still.

  • Wish the served everyday here, but then again we dont have them because of bushfires...

  • very busy engines,

i doubt they will ever breakdown, a boiler change and clean here and their, but no series faults unless they are forgotten about and no one maintains them

  • wow no way! thats cool! now i know where i will raise my children!

  • Very nice!

Are they still running in 2010?

  • Yes, you can see on my recent video :"Wolsztyn trains".

  • Świetne!

  • E'rdekes...Az nagyon jo'.

  • Steam engines operate every day on the Strasburg railroad (a short line) in pennsylvania. There may be a few others as well, I can't recall.

  • Keep em running boys. If I can, I'll visit them one day

  • man that steam engine is looking great! it seems like all the steam engines I see now a days are slow to accelerate and such, but this one seems to be raring to go!

it's great to see steam engines are still being used =D

  • do thease trains see srivice liek amtrack in the USA??

  • Great video! It's fascinating to see these locomotives in action. That is something very rare nowdays here in the USA except for certain theme parks or the occasional excersion. Thank you for posting the videsos

  • this is how it should still be everywhere, almost makes me want to move to Poland to work for a place like this so much beautiful heritage, and look at the pride the fireman, engineers, and mechanics and crews take in their equipment, polishing the rods and wheels down after the day, it should still be like this here in america,

  • beatful steam engin...

  • plosish trains looks neat

  • Thanks!

  • @AndrzejMastalerz

Is this happening in 2007 ? you don't have steam to day, do you.

  • Steam engines serve every day in Wolsztyn.

  • I hope Poland continues to keep their steam going strong, be a shame to lose something like this.

  • That was awesome seeing it get refilled! Nice catch.

  • how can it be possible? those train are again working on 2007

  • They didn't stopped working so they can't work again ;). They have scheduled repairs so they work. No big deal steemers are realy tough creatures, and Poland still has workshops and peaple that know how to repair those machines.

  • Sehr schönes Video!! 5Sterne!! Fahren noch Dampfloks in Polen?

  • Very nice work! Great looking engine!

Your camera work is A++, with clear and interesting subjects. We should now run coal locomotives in U.S. to save very much oil.
