@njfreddy Interesting, Muhammad(pbuh)said the same, who ever follows him is on the right pass. the Bible was not written in English but in Hibru. During translation you can not avoid change of meaning in some details. That is why the Quran never allowed to be translated. If you translated it is not the Quran but the Translation of the Quran. The translation is only for non-Arab speaking people to understand the meaning of the Quran, but once u pray or do ur research, you MUST go back to Arabic.
@njfreddy to answer why Quran is only in Arabic, is to PROTECT the Book. The one of the reasons why Bible was corrupted is allowance of the translation. For example a book in English, someone translates to Chinese then a translate it to Arabic then translate to German... at the end of the day the meaning of the book changes...
I have never seen a book invite people to challenge itself and if find one mistake or contradiction deny it is form the God. People have challenged for pass 1400 years.

@njfreddy Prophet Muhammad (saw) was never poisoned and he never sinned. He passed away from an illness. A prophet is some one who leads and constantly guides his people to the right path so this makes adam (as) the first prophet because he had to educate his children and the generations that followed about the right path.
@njfreddy Prophet Jesus (as) taught his people and they passed on the teachings and yet Christians still sin so according to you Prophet Jesus (as) did a lousy job. All prophets are to guide and teach their disciples, if one sins then it isn't the prophets fault, it's the person for listening to the devil. Prophet Jesus (as) never forgave peoples sins. Allah created satan and destined for him to hate mankind so He can test us, to see who believes and who does evil deeds. @njfreddy A prophet is also someone who is contacted by Allah. Since Prophet Adam (as) was created and taught by Allah, it was his duty to pass on this knowledge to his children and the generations that followed, like I said in my previous comment.

@njfreddy A prophet of Allah doesn't have to do miracles. Prophet Noah never did any miracles nor did he prophesize of any prophet coming after him. All prophets are infallible (never commit any sins) and are chosen by Allah.

@njfreddy Interesting, Muhammad(pbuh)said the same, who ever follows him is on the right pass. the Bible was not written in English but in Hibru. During translation you can not avoid change of meaning in some details. That is why the Quran never allowed to be translated. If you translated it is not the Quran but the Translation of the Quran. The translation is only for non-Arab speaking people to understand the meaning of the Quran, but once u pray or do ur research, you MUST go back to Arabic.

@njfreddy to answer why Quran is only in Arabic, is to PROTECT the Book. The one of the reasons why Bible was corrupted is allowance of the translation. For example a book in English, someone translates to Chinese then a translate it to Arabic then translate to German... at the end of the day the meaning of the book changes...
I have never seen a book invite people to challenge itself and if find one mistake or contradiction deny it is form the God. People have challenged for pass 1400 years.

2 million Muslims from different country pray together during Hajj in Makkah, if the person leading the pray makes mistake, 2 million people behind him correct him immidiately! Can Christians do that? One of my friend couldnt go to Church because he couldnt understand what they are saying.

@njfreddy That is why learning Arabic is MANDATORY for Muslims. I am recently attending Arabic class only for reading the Quran in original language and understand in Arabic.
'Juses(pbuh) is God/Son of God/Devin/ 3 in 1/die for your Sin...' is such a important massage in Christianity, it is directly connected to SALVATION. Such an IMPORTANT message how come Juses(pbuh) never said CLEARLY that 'I am God/ I am 3 in 1/ I am BEGOTTEN son of God ' or 'I will DIE to save you from you Sin' ..etc.

@njfreddy Besides, the day before 'crucifiction' of Juses (pbuh), he prostrated to God (which proves he worship God) and prayed 'Ow Father save me'. Why? because Juses (pbuh) didn't want to DIE and God saved Him, and lifted him to Heaven and he is coming back to break the CROSS.
Juses(pbuh) didn't want to DIE, people mistakenly killed someone else and gave this 'Die for our Sin' title to him.
But ds did say he had to go(God lift him to heaven) & come back (right before the End of the World).

@2redpapers Jesus did wanted to die..John 10:11, 15..Jesus echoes this thought again, saying, "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). and since u say it was someone else that was crucified, u mean to tell me that all the apostles went and died willingly for their belief that Jesus was resurrected and the next 600 years all this christians died for Christ thinking it was someone else that was crucified?

The Quran tells us, Christians are the most close people to Muslims(compare to any other existing religion in the world). Muhammad(pbuh) taught us DELIVER the PURE, NOT CORRUPTED MESSAGE FROM GOD to people. And the Quran says 'Christians are the people with BEAUTIFUL HEART but DON'T know the TRUTH'. Now Alhamdullila, I don't drink, have my own business & a beautiful Russian wife who happens to be Orthodox Christian. They share alot of of things with Islam, even more than most Chriatians. The women cover their bodies & heads when inside the church or in prayer. They also make Wudoo before prayer. Her name in Russian translates in English to, " gift from God".

@njfreddy Prophet Muhammad (saw) was never poisoned and he never sinned. He passed away from an illness. A prophet is some one who leads and constantly guides his people to the right path so this makes adam (as) the first prophet because he had to educate his children and the generations that followed about the right path.

@njfreddy Prophet Jesus (as) taught his people and they passed on the teachings and yet Christians still sin so according to you Prophet Jesus (as) did a lousy job. All prophets are to guide and teach their disciples, if one sins then it isn't the prophets fault, it's the person for listening to the devil. Cain knew what was right and wrong, he had a choiuce, he chose to kill, it his fault, no blame is on prophet adam (as) just like there is no balme on jesus for christians sinning.

Why shoud a man die for our sins when I can ask Allah to forgive us? Allah is the All Merciful. Don't you ever say that I don't read the Qur'an! Qur'an is the word of Allah and I cherish it.

Prophet Jesus (as) never forgave peoples sins. Allah created satan and destined for him to hate mankind so He can test us, to see who believes and who does evil deeds. Predestination is very complicated and our feeble minds can't understand which proves that Allah is the one true God.

Difference is that the disciples of Prophet Jesus couldn't stay away form polytheism and couldn't understand the oneness of Allah hence why they said Jesus is God, God is man. But if it is Allah (The One God) you Worshiped, then know that He does not die." Abu bakr said this because were panicking about what to do with out the prophet. Abu bakr follwoed the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (saw), that is to please Allah Almighty.

@njfreddy A prophet is also someone who is contacted by Allah. Since Prophet Adam (as) was created and taught by Allah, it was his duty to pass on this knowledge to his children and the generations that followed, like I said in my previous comment.

@njfreddy A prophet of Allah doesn't have to do miracles. Prophet Noah never did any miracles nor did he prophesize of any prophet coming after him. All prophets are infallible (never commit any sins) and are chosen by Allah.

This verse is about the first pillar in Islam, that Allah is the one true God and it says also when we pray for something we want, pray for the same things to be bestowed upon your muslim brothers and sisters.

Verses 53 to to 56 is about learning from history, specifically, learning from the mistakes of the Israelis, who were not patient and denied Allah on several occasions. Allah says constantly to ask forgiveness, the prophets always asked forgiveness even though they were infallible, why? It pleases Allah and Allah blesses you.

I read in the Hadith that if you memorize the 99 names of Allah, you can enter Paradise. Of course, I also just recently discovered that Mohammed said one hour of contemplation is better than 60 years of worship, and, seeking one hour of knowledge is better than 70 years of prayer.

There are 100 names, you forgot about "pedophile". The prophet consummated his marriage with his child bride "Aisha" at the age of 9 through the act of sexual intercourse. If this is fact am I lying?

Healthyu2 you are wrong;] Read "Hazrat A'ishah saddiqah(r.a.a) A study of her age at the time of her marriage" by Ruqayyah Waris Maqsood for more information. This is based on the researches of(Maulana Muhammad Farook Khan). Also the 99 Names are God's, not the prophet's. Hope you know the difference.

No prayer to Allah is WASTED as Allah is GOd and He ' answers the call of the supplicant when he calleth upon Him'. As for Jesus, I love him as one of the great Prophets of Islam and I follow his call to obey the one God who is Allah which is what he preached.
