i think its extremely for people to bash others on youtube. this was a very good performence... i think your expression and stage pressence was very good! i do think that there is one thing to work on. and thats the left hand! dont let it fly off the clarinet as much. but other than that i think it was very nice!!
i agree, i think this version is too slow on the 3 movement, and the squeaks were annoying, but you also didnt seem to have enough controll over some of the notes in higher registers. also, watch out for how you play the 2nd movement, less expression is needed, more subtle playing would help.
@klarinetta I heard the piece played by Stanley Drucker last sunday, he only took it around 170, but had great articulation and dynamics. I think that's a good tempo for the 3rd movement
I also played this piece, and in my opinion, it's beautiful and so innerly... I love it... but you played it a little bit uninvolved, and the 3. mvmt has plenty of mistakes...

Personally I wouldn't play the last movement slower than 160 and I also heard Martin Fröst play it hear in Iceland 3 weeks ago at a speed around 190

u sounded really strange in the third mvmt. when in the high notes. U played the second mvmt. much better.

@stacipcla no one is too old for practice...your comment is quite rude and unnecessary.

I think in the final movement he was sloppy on the semiquavers at the intro (which was repeated many times)

I am playing this for an exam soon; but I use copious vibrato... why don't classical clarinetists use vibrato? It sounds beautiful.

In my opinion, his tone is a little too sharp... especially in the heights... or is it just the recording? i dunno...

Hahaha, it's normal to struggle with music, I bet this guy would have felt the same way when he started learning.
