  • marrie me!!

  • I just ordered a corset, and after viewing your video on ebay corsets, I am not a little worried. I know that corsets are expensive but i dont have alot of money to spend on them. I have been researching this for weeks before I bought it. I bought it from the ebay seller: europastyle0092 . IS this a good and authentic corset and seller? Thanks

  • @laniecehoward Europastyle is kind of on the middle-lower quality of corsets as reflected by the price. They are definitely more sturdy than the Chinese-style "corsets" like the one showed in my ebay video, but they shouldn't be used for tightlacing as the bones and grommets and pull out of the fabric. Those corsets should just be used for fashion purposes and cinch no more than about 2 inches. I tried a leather corset by the same manufacturer and wasn't really impressed with the shape.

  • @bishonenrancher: Thanks for responding! Well, if you had to go with an inexpensive corset and you had to choose from ebay, what would you buy and from what seller? Thanks Also, I have a 48 inch waist and not alof of sellers are making that size unless I get it custom made.

  • @laniecehoward If your natural waist is 48" then I'd recommend getting about a 42" corset to start. I believe Meschantes has training corsets in standard sizes sold on Ebay, but they usually charge a little more for larger sizes so you're looking at about $180. Apart from that there's only one other place I know that sells 42" standard corsets and that's Ms Martha's Corset Shoppe outside of ebay. She never charges more for the larger sizes Her 4XL corsets have a 42" waist and they're $150.

  • How long have you been wearing corsets & What difference have you seen?

  • @aishwarya73 I've been wearing corsets about 2 years. I've seen an improvement in my posture as well as about 1 inch lost in my natural waist. :)

  • HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WEARING CORSETS?????

  • @tralalalala666 About 2 years, off and on. I tried my first corset about 10 years ago, though. :)

  • Which would you recommend out of the longline and the waspie corset? I am 5ft1" and have a 26" waist

  • @stawberryjamful At 5ft1" the longline might be a little long for you, I would get the waspie. It's a little more versatile in terms of fashion, too. :)

  • When you're wearing a long corset like this, do you recommend wearing your pants over or under the corset? I can imagine that both ways has it's downsides.. Just wondering :) I lóve your videos btw!!! you really inspire me to make my own corset!!

  • @sweetkoekje I like to wear these corsets overtop over my pants, although it does make things slightly complicated when going to the bathroom. It's more comfortable over low-rise yoga pants as opposed to jeans or other pants with a defined, lumpy waistband and button fastener. I'm glad you like my videos, thanks! :)

  • wow ! you are pretty!

  • MAGNIFICENT

  • Your reviews are so helpful : ) I'm wondering, have you ever bought a corset from corset story? I keep seeing advertisements for it, but I can't find many reviews. They also go buy Corsets-UK, I think. I ask because they're a little less expensive, ranging from $75+. What is the best inexpensive corset you have gotten?

  • That is seriously a beautiful corset! I think that's better suited to me since I definitely have a.. hippy body. xD It looks GREAT on you!

  • Excellent review and thanK you very much !!!

  • Iv been looking for a longer one and this ones looks exactly like what i want. I definitely need something with the narrow ribs too. I might just have to buy this one! Thanks for doing this review

  • I really want to waist train but I think my body is weird every corset ive tried has ended up rubbing the curve of my hips and making them really sore as well as the bottem of my spine none of them ever fit me length wise! :(

  • @FollowingMyDream Don't give up, there are corsets for curvier girls! Generally speaking, a longline corset doesn't rub my back/hips as much as shorter corsets. You can also get a custom-fit corset - it might be a little more expensive, but it's better to have 1 well-fitting corset than 3 ill-fitting ones you'll never wear!

  • @nikwalnikwal This is style 1817 on their website, called "Black satin underbust steel bone hipster corset." The black devil corset is similar except longer below the waist and curves around the lap, and also has no back modesty panel.

  • @bishonenrancher

well.. there it closes at 6clasps in the vid, but only 5 on their homepage.. that was why I thought.. ;-)

  • Oh Lucy. You are amazing. You Tubers have been waiting for you forever. x

  • Excellent review. Very thorough. I thought it was good how you put up the time references for anyone who wanted to jump to a certain spot. Nice touch. I'm looking forward to your next one!

  • OMG..OMG thank you soooooo much for reveiwing this I have been thinking if buying one and was unsure.

  • Also is there a corset you would recomend for more extreme curves?

  • @BeautybyBianca When I wear this corset, the hips are about 9-10 inches larger than the hips so if your waist/hip ratio is larger than that, you may need to choose another style. If you want extreme curves, best bet is to get one custom made but What Katie Did is good too. Thanks for your comment!

  • great review! So would you say this corset would suit someone with larger hips?
