Another great place to do it is at the Mick and Ralph Shop in Freeside, real close to the Gun Runners you can get Mick to fix your stuff up to 85% the condition and you can make the same process. Always keep good items like Cowboy Repeater, Combat Armor, Recon Armor, Metal Armor, so you can cap a lot. Great spots for this are Gun Runners, Contreras at McCarran. Also Alexander over at the 188 the lady down at the Mojave Outpost.

Finally I found a video about this glitch. I've been using it since Fallout 3 and in the New Vegas the best place to use it is at the Gun Runners kioski. Use it with armors beucase they can cap you 2000 or more at one time letting you have the big guns and making the process a lot faster. By the way if you do it save and quit then reload the game by choosing the continue option instead of load in the main screen the caps comes back, no need to advance. Very good if you play hardcore.

Awesome info!! yeah at first i didn't know if it really worked until i bought the guns over and over; at the third time it worked. If you are confused like me as i first was follow these steps. STEP ONE: wait for three days. STEP 2 buy and sell the SAME gun over three times - note: the first two buys the gun will not be repaired. By the third time you buy it from him it will be repaired in you inventory. The next few times you buy the gun it will be completely repaired in your inventory.

if you have a xbox 360 listen up theres a way to delete the patch!!!! go to my xbox go to system settings go to memory go to your fallout new vegas saves and delete the thing on there called title update and load back up the game and itll say to update click cancel you willl be disconnected from live do all glitches all you want go back and update and you can delete again if you want to thumbs up if it worked cause i did this and it worked

Although you have the glitch right, you have the reasoning wrong. What happens is a central processing glitch of some sort that is directly combined with the shop system. This is why this glitch is in both fallout 3 AND new vegas, although it seems to be harder to do in new vegas.What happens in the glitch is by buying and reselling somehow, someway, you will find that the weapon you are buying and selling (must be more than one), if it works correctly, will be at full cnd. (pt. 1)

Good to know but I think I won't use this glitch, it's cheating the game and this is not how it's meant to be played. No challenge, no fun. The big thing in fallout NV, especially on hardcore is managing your ammo and money, and this will just make everything wayyy to easy.

i get it to work just fine at gun runners or anywhere before i left goodsprings on new profile i had 5k cap, and 1+k ammo in three weapon so it works you just have to do it with right guns to be really affective like the (Brush gun, ANTI, or LMG, and you make lots of caps

in gun runners the protectron had a anti material rifle i had one 2 so i did the buy and sell wat happened was after i sold the rifle and bought it again and sold it i looked in my inventory and found i had a new rifle and saw the protectron had 2 anti rifles (the 1 sold and the 1 he had) idk if it was a glitch but i keep doing it 2 any gun thats about 2 be broken BUT THE VENDORER HAS 2 HAVE THE GUN U HAVE.
