ive got a crf450r and trust me they have alot of bottom end power aswell as top end my brother has a 250sx and i smoke him launch to top end both 2011 models. glad i got one i used to only ride 250 2stokers till i finally brought me a 450 and im not planning on changing anytime soon unless they bring out 2stroke with fuel injection
@XxCoDFatherx Yeah man thats a pretty big step. But if you are going to get the 450, start out slowly because those bikes fly. LOTS of bottom end torque. Good luck.
@XxCoDFatherx not really, dont b fooled cos its a 450 its a gonna have 2 much power, infact these new so called revolution 4 strokes r underpowered pos! u want power 250-300sx 2strokes they have just as much power than those granade bolloon bombs, dont waist ur money on these shit boxs.trust me and thank me l8tr.
@clumzylv no height really doesnt matter as long as you can handle the bike. Unless you're maybe 4' anything" or less. That muscular build helps there tho. The only thing you should be worried about however is the class you'll be racing in. If you jump in with the big boys on the 450s and you're new to racing, they will shit all over you. So plenty of practice if you got that big of balls.
Haha shifting without the clutch fucks it up you stupid ass noob. Everyone knows that. They wouldnt put one there if it didnt serve a purpose. When your gears are sticking and you have to start it in neutral everytime and then pop a wheelie into first you'll feel like an idiot. Thats kinda why the pros are using them. It screws it up. At least by a rekluse. That sounds like something you could handle.
i was looking at 450s and im probaly gona buy 2005 to 2007-8 ish, i was wondering what makes i should stay away from or the problems with them. thanks.
@coreypower177 almost all professional riders dont even use the clutch to shift up and down unless theres a big corner etc, its just really hard on sprockets and chains, and most have anti stall clutch systems like reckluse and hinson.
@narib28 >> lol ill try lol people give me shit cuzz i want a 450 im like it would be my fault if i get hurt so dont worry about it lol
also if you start out a 450... you will probably find your self not having fun and you wont very quick cause you wont be able to open the throttle on it
@l07smitty check this kid out he thinks hes cool cuzz he can try to shit on people haha but umm yeah of course my news paper money (sarcastic) just incase you didnt know
Wow that track looks so nice. And the bike too. This winter I'm selling my 04 crf250r and will buy a 450r 2011 or 2012 if they're available at start of summer. Will be awesome... At least I won't blow it up twice in one year ahah

orangesarerealgood 9 months ago
@motomagnet09 some people shift without clutch it called powershifting... but dont do it.... it screws up the transmission and clutch
KawasakiFreaks 9 months ago
@KawasakiFreaks It doesn't screw up anything. Only goons shift with the clutch.

What you really should do is fuck around on the 450r and race a 250r. Don't tell no one to keep it all for your advantage.
