Its really easy...Just make a small hole in the vent right under that green switch on the side..put your hose in there...and take the sponge out and place it on the outside nozzle..
Super easy especially if you have the mini-elite in front of you.
@jschristian44 You will still need diy CO2 yes. And NO you take out the sponge. It does not filter, just churns up the CO2 bubbles smaller and scatters them throughout the tank. The goal with adding CO2 is to disolve as much as possible in the water. You don't want much surface agitation and finer bubbles don't float immediately to the top.
looks good ive been trying to deside how i am going to diffuse my co2 in my tank and this looks cheap easy and looks like it works really well

if i do this, do i still need the diy yeast bottle? or does this supply oxygen to my plants? will this still filter the tank asa well?
