My trick to beating him, though, was to use Nebula.  I seriously sat there keeping him at a distance and smacking him for 35 damage until he died.

levels won't matter. I suggest instead of using cream pie in this lol, master the axe, deals 103 damage to richter. And always use the royal sword on richter, best for this level. And, I was level 46 when I did this, overlevelled?

He does not seem that hard. And I agree, he is pretty easy in SOTN too. All you have to do is turm in to a bat and shoot the orb above his head, which is even more effective when using the Bat Familiar. It took me less than a minute to beat this Belmont Butt. Anyway the pies were hillarious. I guess Richter 'died' because he is either allergic or discovered what the secret ingredient to Mrs. Lovett's meat pies was. =P

iv found the easiest way to do it is using the shuriken (spelling) fully mastered. iv completed the game on hard with level 1 cap so it only takes me around 50 seconds to kill him now.

best place to level skill weps is in the Dark Academy. There is a room with two minotars that are worth 20 sp each. You only have to hit them once with ur special wep and kill them to get credit

well you can call your partner with PERFECT TIMING or, make a Axe special attack, that is actually a glitch but i found more easy to use an Axe special than timing my partner,also Alucard´s spear special do the trick ;D

sanctuary is in the desert grave in the room with the rolling boulders. when you enter from the bottom, you need to turn into the frog and go to the left under the platform. go all the way to the end and there it is.

Sanctuary is a spell you can find in the desert painting in the room with the rolling bolder. You need the toad morph spell in order to get to it, which is found in the forest of doom painting I believe.

I don't think i even GOT the Holy Mail.o_o I just avoided his attacks. I say your best bet is to..if you TRULY need more defense, work your way to the Nest of Evil and try to defeat the Giant Green Armor guys that flail a giant ball around, they drop a real hefty armor, But you might want the wing boots to stabalize it's set back.

But if I really did get a "Holy mail"...I'd have to say it came from a Great Armor or a Erinys. I wish you the best of luck in your fight.
