Adrian Peterson was inconsistent all the way down the stretch when he had to face teams with good safeties. The teams he blew up? Atlanta, Kansas City (MJD avg'd 9 YPC against them), Detroit? Seriously? But I will admit, he blew up some good defenses like Chicago and San Diego, but the guy is far from perfect. And alot of coaches would take MJD over Peterson because he's a human wrench.

Frank Gore is a better runner than Jones-Drew... While MJD may better Gore in certain areas (i.e. receiving, returning) Gore is the better runner. He runs better the MJD and is on a much worse team with a much worse O-line.

actually Frank Gore rushed for 1700 yards in 06, and 1100 in 07. I'd consider that two good seasons. Especially compared to jones drew. He is yet to break 1,000 in one season, and only has 1700 career total.

You do realize that, that stat simply means that jones's teamates got the ball down the field; and then he ran in for the touchdown. Plus don't forget the three i had listed before Frank Gore... Adrian peterson, LT, Brain Westbrook. I think those guys are considered better rb's then jones drew

Jones Drew was IIRC 30 yards away from breaking 1000 yards his rookie season BEHIND Fred Taylor who ALSO had 1200 yards. If you are comparing Frank Gore to Jones-Drew then you are a retard, Big time.

Brian Westbrook and MJD are about the same, but I'd give the edge to Westbrook despite his inconsistency. Also, Jones-Drew has a 5.1 YPC average, which throws that "teammates down the field" theory out the window. LT is better than MJD, and Adrian Peterson hasn't been here long enough to even be considered anything BUT the best fantasy option.

But the things you say still don't classify jones drew as the best half back in the league. If you ask ANY COACH in the league if they would rather start their team with AP or jones-drew and you and i both know that 100% would say AP. Also AP hasn't been here long enough to be considered... Jones is in what his 3rd year... AP is in his second. Not that much of a difference there buddy.
