  • @solipsism2, you're telling the world you have a "cock radio" now that is a strange place to keep a radio.

  • i loved his voice

  • i heard this song on the movie blind love movie.. is cool the rhythm and lyrics of this song

  • shit. this song really breaks my heart.

  • Their voices sound kind of off key in some places, but it still sounds great! It's kind of weird.

  • Happy Days...Love it! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • mr.bean on drums

  • 9 people didn't find their baby yet lol ))

  • he looks like mike tyson

  • I thought the lead singer looked like a Danny Tyson / Mike Glover guy.

  • Is that Mike Tyson's brother?

  • cool to see it live. this was back when there was some TALENT !

  • didn't know that mike tyson sung

  • Anyone else noticed Mr Tumnus from the lion the witch and the wardrobe on the piano at the front

  • i hate the fact that everyone criticizes justin bieber, and make him a symbol for "bad" music lol.

  • he looks like Randy Jackson

  • what is auto tuned

  • Oh my god Mike Tyson cant half sing - who would have thought ;0)

  • @ryuconners thats the first thing i thought

  • Be ashamed all you auto tuned singers

  • very wonderful but i found myself ironically going back in time just to find some cool stuff in music...

  • love the dude on the drums.

  • shallow hal hahhaha

  • @hzhousorokk lol i just watched that movie and had the song stuck in my head.

  • @sweetlene LOl same!! its the best movie everr

  • guy singing reminds me of mike tyson

  • what a sound,,,,,,,great days of real class acts like the foundations tams 4 tops do you want ne to go on ?, we were spoilt for sure,,

  • This song is sooo cool! They producers took the instrumentals from recording but let them perform the vocals. Sort of a 60’s version of karaoke.

There's another fun clip on youtube of Sam Sham's "Wooly Bully" that's produced the same way. Any others? Thanks for posting!

  • @MemoryMicrowave That's cool - why the vocals sound unpolished and real

  • Classic... this song is amazing

  • I had no idea that blacks were a part of this group. i like the song then and will always like it. Big difference between lip sync and live.

  • when l was 10 this record blew me away and it still does at 53,,,

  • Clem Curtis at his soulful best..Love this so much, iconic U.K soul, word!

  • @ginaandkev absolutely,,great singer and the foundations were a world class band,,never tire of listening to this stuff,,,

  • TRUTH OVER PERFECTION. AWESOME

  • An integrated group in the 60s...AWESOME! And so is the song. I like it better than Allison's version.

  • been in love with the alison krauss version for years and this is the first time i've ever heard the original. really cool

  • better than any version. he looks like mike tyson. cool song

  • @pat2x16

you're right..2x's! He does look like Tyson, and this is THE best version.

  • TTTTUUUUUNNNNNNNEEEEE!!!!

  • @pidosphere Amen.

  • que de bons souvenirs , sympa

  • I read one one album liner this group was looked at as Reggae. (don't blame me I read it on an album so it must be true LOL)

  • @myobfool , before they were called The Foundations and lost and replaced some new members, they were called The Ramong sound or Ramongs later. They played a kind of reggae ska R&B mix around 1966. Sadly the Ramongs never did any recordings. They even had Arthur Brown (Hellfire) as a co-lead singer for a few weeks. Very interesting band and they recorded some grreat songs, some of them somewhat raw sounding but that just adds to the band's charm. Sadly they didn't record a huge amount of songs.

  • I was 8 when my parents bought this record for my birthday. Clem Curtis has such a unique voice and a strong style….Brilliant.

  • can't even watch this vid without that Yankee squirt being mentioned. A sad day!

  • @yalakorn He's Canadian

  • What, we can't like this song and Justin Bieber at the same time? =P

  • now that I found you I can't let you go.....

  • Clem Curtis is really Mike Tysons father.

  • @WiccansEatShit , ......QUOTE:"Clem Curtis is really Mike Tysons father." Lol after having more of a look and thinking about it now I'm starting to wonder. Before Clem joined the Ramong Sound who would evolve into the Foundations that we see here, he was a pro boxer and had 19 fights . he then left boxing to be a singer by accident or someting. Look if Clem & Iron Mike had a DNA test I wouldn't be surprised if the tests showed they were related in some way. There is a strong resemblence there

  • 9 people are justin beiber fans

  • drummer looks like kevjumba, time traveler?? :O

  • Very good song...and a singers voice is incredible.Fuck racism !!!

  • this is music, Justin is just a lesbian chick

  • Comment removed

  • Ah good song:)

  • 9 people don't need them :P

  • This is great! A terrific, mid-60s song, done live, without lip-sync. The guy on the keyboard has some heavy duty eyebrows.

  • One of my favorite songs when I was thirteen. Great time. Great memories.

  • Why does this song throw me back to a long-gone Christmas, having flu at the time but feeling great all the same?

  • this is mine an my girlfriends song i have viynl copy of this an its just great

  • So awesome to hear someone actually singing

  • who voted thumbs down for this song ?

    question too hard ?

these songs make your blood flow better ,scientifically proven !

  • What a voice :) Great song too !! the 60's put out some awesome tunes!

  • This original version is a lot of fun to hear again -- memories of when it was top 40. ..now click above & listen to what Alison Krauss does with this song ...

    From Bubblegum-Soul to Soulful Ballad.

  • this is better than some crap of justin bieber pile o shit.

  • @mrblurblur2003 stop giving him credit for anything to do with any good, deep, or meaningful song.

  • @mrblurblur2003 Hahahahahahahahaahhah....oooooh boy. You just made me lmao. You are sooo right mr. blurblur! Still...LMAO

  • @mrblurblur2003 Ok now that's just mean ! This isn't even the same music gender ! You offend this great group by comparing their music with pop or else, and that young boy just because you step on the wrong foot this morning ! Much love and try and leave seconds out of your comments for the sake of peace !

  • @wazy19 Justick Beaver is a pile o shit stupid!

  • @mrblurblur2003 Ok Now your only being the "Pile o shit" learn to write or go bump your head in a wall (maybe you'll get some sense into that empty head of yours) and let people enjoy the music, Much love ! Enjoy your day !

  • @wazy19 STFU gay!

  • @mrblurblur2003 Justin bieber is actually talented admittedly his songs are crap but at least he can sing. You should listen to CHER LLOYD NOW THATS A PILE OF SHIT

  • @angelwright36, come on now let's be honest, both are manufactured SHIT!

  • @mrblurblur2003 bem melhor que justin bieber

justin bieber is shit (merda em portuguese)

  • I love this.The 60's were great years .

  • Who needs autotune when you've got talent?

  • love this song

  • Wow all of these great songs are in my head today listen to Suspicious Mind by Elvis =]

  • I'd like to live in this time, where we had good music like this.

  • Who is the keyboard player? I assume he is one of the original players.

  • @gum7679shoe i think it might be, tony gomez , i think he was the original keyboard

  • Clem Curtis many years later sounds great here . Check out ->> Lord Large feat. Clem Curtis - Stuck In A Wind-Up. The flip side is a SKA type song called "MOve Over Daddy. Of course and there is the wierd ->> The Native Hipsters - Mr. Magic . I don't know where that recording came from but Clem's voice still sounded great in the 80's and sound amazing today. He's 69 years of age and still going strong. My hat's off to the man.

  • you are so right missohio83. I was around, born in '50 and I am grateful I was on the tale end of this kind of music, the duration of the Beatles, the anti-war movement, Elvis' unbelievable career

Amazing the music I've been able to listen... not to mention some of the crazy stuff happening now!

  • For some reason this song just randomly popped in my head and I haven't heard it in awhile! This kind of music is just great, I'm only 26 and really wish I could've been around when music was at it's best, which to me was in the 50s and 60s!

  • What a classic song!! Darling I just can't let you!!!

  • The Foundations were a British soul band, active from 1967 to 1970. The group, made up of West Indians, White British, and a Sri Lankan, are best known for their two biggest hits, "Baby Now That I've Found You" (a Number One hit in the UK Singles Chart and Canada, and subsequently Top 10 in the US) and written by Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod; and "Build Me Up Buttercup"

  • Dat nigga has a very good voice.

  • TIMELESS

  • am i the only one who likes both? i mean cmon, there are some good new songs and some good old songs. u guys cant be judging new songs as crap songs and old songs as great cuz there are some shitty old songs too.

  • I loved this except one of the guys singing back-up is way off key and killed it ugh.

  • @TheRedMike but i believe everyone is sincere which makes it cool

  • You don't need me!!! You don't need me!

  • I love this tune and also Alison Krauss' cover version.

This is like the perfect pop tune!

  • man that was and is great music !

  • kinda?

  • songs dont get any better than they use to

  • @taylapitch66 idk y im comenting on my own post

  • The first time I heard this song was in a movie and I fell in love with it ever since.

  • It calms me listening to soul. I love the oldies. 80's music has a deeper meaning than music today.

  • Best song ever!

  • His voice cracks and is off pitch in places and is absolutely wonderful. Let that be a lesson to singers who rely on studio gimmickry. Soul is something that comes naturally as is the apparent joy of singing a really cool song.

  • Never knew they were an intergrated group intil I got the CD The British Are Coming. This song rocked all the radio stations. Great voice and hey! I can sing along because the words are clear. The Brits kicked ass when they came here in the 60's. Today' new singers do not know how to write good R&B and pop songs with a hook. MJ is gone and they are are lost.

  • im 17 and im liking some old songs.

  • You can tell he do not talk English that well but it makes him even sexier. I wish I had been around when he was. This song would have a title like this."Baby now that you found me please let me go!!". LOL

  • DANG! So much soul and meaning in those words! Also... these comments are hilarious, yes, mike tyson first came to mind when I saw this.

  • dude kinda looks like Mike Tyson, but with a much better voice.

  • A young Mike Tyson singing lead

  • wow

  • Mike Tyson on lead vocals. Bruce Lee on keyboards.

  • @medinthebean LMAO \m/

  • He misses his cue towards the end.

  • Sounds like he's struggling to reach the top notes, he even misses his cue towards the end and the backing singers take over. Fantastic song though!!

  • Yeay, It's Clem ...he is my oldest brother's father.

If you see this, Clem ...I have'nt logged into MySpace for some time, but will say hello on next login :>)

  • @Angie2106

Hi Clem! I love this song and think you are soooooooo cuteeeeeeeee!!!

  • i used to love this song when i was little, i still like it, but not as much anymore

  • Amazing, the low opinion of most of the stuff coming out today. Not just me. From Berlin to the Beatles(both sung by young 'uns at my temple--"Hey Jude" on karioke last night), younger listeners are turning to the back catalogue.

Racially mixed acts were nothing new but still rare. Then out of the U.K.you had: George Fame and The Blue Flames, The Foundations and the Equals featuring Eddy Grant. Then Frisco produced one of the most famous mixed bands: Sly and the Family Stone.

  • Julia Nunes has a great version of this song on youtube. The foundations remind me of my friends. We've got two jews, two blacks, one korean or something like that, one indian, and two crackers very interracial.

  • This is a great song, the crap they have today is all about sex, getting high and the johans brothers and miley cyrus have put music on the track of no return. These songs told stories this was the good old days

  • @navystrengh y cant more people think like u?

  • 1967......Every Good Thing Came Around That Year :))

  • makes ya wanna sing along with everyone in the room.

  • I looooove this song

I am 18 and love the classic music its better than the noisy new ones

  • merde sûrement signée motown

  • This is music! I love these guys. They're much better than those hippity-hop gangsters with their shorts down to their fuckin' ankles that sing about -God forbid what-, nowadays. Songs now will be forgotten in less than five years, and songs like this one are still played. >:D

  • makes me think WTF happened to music todayXD

    the oldies are much better!!

  • baby! now that i've found you I won't let you go!

  • What a great voice - wow - I always thought it was a group of white guys - hahahaa - little did I know. This is a great group and a wonderful song - THANKS FOR SHARING

  • Thank God we can still listen to classics like this!

There is so much rubbish now.

  • Just reminds me of good times

  • a yummy classic, flippin' awesome :)

  • some lyrics were modified by Alison Krauss band.. in fairness to them they made this song popular and a top hit around the world. and still is..

PEOPLE OF 60'S SEEMS ENJOYING THE FLOOR! LOOK AT THEIR FACIAL EXPRESSIONS...lolx

  • Only 13 and love old music. This song is a classic. Tht guy culd be mike tysons twin

  • Depending on when this song came out in 1967, I was either in 11th or 12th grade. I loved it and still do. Build me up Buttercup was a strong cousin to this and I don't care. Loved both songs.

  • back in 1967 ( when this song became a hit), we didn't know that 28 years later, it would a big hit for Alison Krauss in 1995.

  • Nice to hear the kids like the old stuff

  • Love this song

  • Classic,Classic

  • Oh that first note.

  • LOL, 0:34 Liam Gallagher on keyboards, or is it someone from Planet Of The Apes films, can't make my mind up.

  • lol funny comment MrBooojangles

  • @MrBooojangles Whatever you may think he looks like. Looks to me he has admirers aor may indeed have trapped off at 2:18.

  • Yeah you are right :)

  • @MrBooojangles Tony Gomez. From Ceylon.

  • this song RULES

  • this rocks.

the lead singer could be Mike Tyson's first cousin.

  • haha ive never noticed tht

  • @klugyboy LOL....Never thought of that...good 1

  • or even his dad lol.. Tyson was born only a couple years before this came out

  • @tonzone21 , You'll have to write to Clem Curtis and ask him if he is related to Iron Mike. Clem was a pro boxer before joining The Ramong Sound (Pre-Foundations name change) so who knows. I tried to do the maths and it is possible LOL.

  • ...i agree with you farfromthecrowd...smiling is what thismakes me do....memoriesahhhhh

  • poder negro =)

    saludos

  • Alison Krauss copies from the best!

  • This brings back so many memories. They just don't write 'em like that anymore.

  • funny, with youtube I see that the songs/groups I liked were black...hey hey!!

I was already there, what 30 years ago??

    black is beautiful.

  • dont get better than this, cnt help but smile :) badadadaaaaaaaaaaaah!

  • ESTO ES MUSICA NO ESA MIERDA DE RAP

  • i like this
