Also: Dream of the Shore Bordering Another World is the name of that overworld theme, and it is just fantastic. Probably my favorite song in the game.

I think this part of the story is more potent if you don't have Poshul, who clearly remembers who you are; without Poshul, it would help emphasize the feeling that you're ostracized and no one knows who you are.

You can never really grind. Between bosses, you can fight random battles to get some negligible stat boosts. If you do that too often, the game will compensate by denying stat boosts.

In any case, don't bother going out of your way for the small stat boosts, even in situations where there is little time between boss fights. It's completely unnecessary.

Well, the producers have stated they wanted to go in a completely different direction with Chrono Cross, which they did. There are some similarities, but it's not Chrono Trigger 2, and that made some people upset. Myself, I played CC first, so it never bothered me.

I think the difference between this game's music and any other RPG's music is a big one: Chrono Cross's ocean theme is so strong that it even comes across in its music. I always've felt the music gentle; more for 'ambiance'.
