  • really good! you are really good. Im starting to face paint and your videos help me a lot! what brand are your products? do you orer them online? if so where?

  • Awesome!! I! Am learning to face painting but doing this on your own face is amazing!!!

  • I'm just starting out my face painting business and found your channel for tips. Is there a certain type of glitter that you use for the face or will any kind do? Thanks for sharing your talent:)

  • @naomithecandlegirl Definitely use cosmetic grade glitter. It's made without any sharp edges, so it's safe for the eye :)

  • So, I have something in mind, it's not a cake like the one you use, but I found this really cool powdered makeup that lasts for-freakin'-ever. They're pretty cheap for a tower, too (if I recall correctly), about 20 bucks. They last forever and you can mix them with water to make great eyeliners or blendable stuff, or even with vasoline to make a decent lip gloss. Just something that you may like or want to try out some time. :D Google Bella Pierre, tell me what ya think.

  • @MsFantasticPlastic Scratch that, it looks like it's a bit more expensive than when I bought it. I use them frequently and they've lasted me for nearly 4 years.

  • Hello I really love it

Where can I buy the rainbow cake?

    Thanks

    I appreciate your answer

  • Thank you for your time and effort. I love the colors. Simple yet effective for just winging it! Btw, I've been watching alot of your vid's. You are such a great help w/ really good information. I am inspired. I plan on painting faces for free at a hospital for the children who are long term. I just want to bless them and see theirsmiles. Hopefully I can do a good job! God bless.

  • @Uh4endN0enimi What a great idea! I hope they enjoy the face painting! :)

  • @Rhini02000 Thank you! I'm a stay at home mom, but I do this on the weekends for a little extra cash :)

  • @lisajoyyoung I think you should really do something with this. But what would i know I'm only a teenager!! lol

  • Has Caleb arrived???? I was thinking of you yesterday and wondering. Was also thinking selfishly how I won't see a new video for a while:-( but so happy for you all at the same time :-) xo

  • @Montse3070 Yes, Caleb was born June 18th at 4:40am. Everything went very smoothly and we're both doing well. Luckily, I pre-recorded and edited several videos, so there should be a video coming up soon :)

  • @lisajoyyoung I thought he was due in July! He came early AND very early in the morning - how rude hee hee!!!

    Hope you're well . . . those 1st 6-8 weeks are the hardest with sleep deprivation etc . . .

You are so thoughtful - pre-recorded tutorials!!!!! Too kind!

Well, thinking of you and hope Caleb is a good sleeper and feeder!

    xo

  • what is your favorite color combo for butterflies, fairies, etc?

  • @SlimKaci I love to use a rainbow cake made with light colors. Orange, yellow, lime green, light blue, lavender, and pink look great!

  • I too love your designs and this is another one I'll be trying out. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to buy some brushes and paints (TAG) and start my business. I've only been at it for a few weeks, but already it is going really well and I know that I owe some of my success to your great teaching. Everyone loves your shark! Anyway, my question is, what type/brand glitter do you recommend?

  • @trinkiebee I don't have any brand of glitter that I like over the other. I usually just order my glitter from whatever website I order paint at and I've never noticed any difference between them. They all seem to work equally well to me. The only glitter I've ever disliked was a cosmetic glitter I got at Claire's at the mall. It was too chunky and wouldn't stick to the paint.

  • @lisajoyyoung hi just like trinkebee you inspire me. because of your videos and teaching skills, you really made me feel like anybody can do this even me. And I have been doing very well. I get tons of compliments. So Thank you for helping me believe this is possible. I love it. But, can you tell me what the brand of glitter it is that you used in this video. Its soooo sparkly.

  • @cmy73ih I wish I could tell you, but I can't remember :( I bought a big bag of it in bulk a long time ago and I'm not sure of what website I got it from. It could have been from the facepaintforum shop, but I'm not sure. Sorry about that!

  • Amazing! Thanks for the time of day.

  • Where do I buy your loew Cornell blue handle comfort brushes? I'm desperate! Please respond soon! I trust your recommendation! Thanks, brandy

  • @billyfairbank I bought them at a craft store, but they don't sell them there anymore. Several viewers have found some online, but I'm not sure of an exact website. I know they can be hard to find, but a bit of looking on google should find you something :)

  • were shoud i buy it

  • Absolutely beautiful.. thank you so much for your tutorials!!! love every single one of them!

  • A great design. I have a rainbow cake that I made myself and see if it works. Very pretty, and love all the glitter, really makes it zing! A joy to watch you work (no pun intended!!) Glad you are feeling better.

  • Nice to see that you are feeling better, Lisa! Beautiful design, as always:) Thanks for sharing it with us ...and for the review, too. I really appreciate the honesty and straightforward approach to reviews. Best of luck with the tail end of your pregnancy! I hope it goes by quickly:-)

    Rosi Dias

  • wow! Adoro la manera en que explicas como hacer los diseños: rapido, simple, directo al punto. Gracias por la opinion tan honesta al hablar hacerca de los productos hay en el mercado. Yo soy principiante y tu eres mi maestra!. Muchas, muchas gracias! Feliz 4 de julio. Adios. ☺ ♥

  • Another great design, good luck with the baby...

  • this is so fun!! love it!

  • @rawr81itssarah Thanks! :)

  • Lovely design Lisa. My 1st Neon split cake was TAG and it did go pretty fast. I garee with you also - the colour aren't that flattering although the kids love it and it is eye catching . . . yet somehow it is not necessarily that attractive!

Good to see that you're feeling better! just in time for the birth - you'll need all the energy you can get! Glad you can enjoy the rest of your summer - it's cold down under in Oz!

    Take care xo

  • @Montse3070 Thanks! I'm definitely feeling better, although I'm having a bit of a hard time moving around lately! I'll be shocked if I actually make it to me due date! :)

  • Simply Beautiful!

  • @elssiesanchez Thanks!!! I'm so glad you liked it!

  • Part 2- I even bought your complete Set: mehron cases, plenty expensive brushes & all colours from diamondfx. Even bought a scrapbooking case in pink from art2go which I just can recommend. Thank you for all the good hints. I have the best set of material now. I paint in every evening and check a lot of videos, but yours are the absolut best ones with the nicest designs & informations and you are so talented & lovely. Thanks for sharing this with us. Biiiig Baby-Belly-Hug from Carla in Germany

  • Hello my dear LisaJoy,

I´m so happy to see another great Design from you again. Of course I subscribed and since last year Christmas I saw all of your great videos (...and regonized that your pregnante, all best wishes for you two). I just never found the time to say thanx and hello, So I do now. You gave me so much inspiration and strengh, so now, as a mother from 3 kids I started this face painting business and I love it. I painted more than 220 Kids on the weekend (within 18h of work)!

    --->

  • how do you wash away these paints?

  • @emukanina Baby wipes work great! If there's any lasting residue after using the wipes, any type of oil based products (baby oil, olive oil, makeup remover) on a cotton pad will get the rest off really easily.

  • @lisajoyyoung Thanks! and btw i love you!

  • @emukanina im a girl*
