everybody is crazy. all Slayer albums are great and Diabolous is no exception. that was a great album. In their top 4. it JUST SO HAPPENS that they chose to groove a lot while retaining plenty of speed as well but numetal had just found some mainstream success so of course anything that grooved in that time period automatically got accused of being numetal. Diabolous is anything BUT numetal. Its fuckin heavy. stop the genre-worry and enjoy a great Slayer album

Im from central valley CA so there are lots of guitar and bass players around here, and most of them are great at their instruments BUT not many of them are good riff writers. Drummers and singers on the other hand, there are NONE here worth a damn as far as metal goes. And the only ones i knew of were in my bands and bounced out to L.A.
