  • i want a truck that year really bad.

  • "Add-A-Leafs". You can find them at JCWhitney. By adding a few more leaf's, you can lift the rear up to 6 inches, but you'd have to get a lowering kit for the transfer case so you don't lock up your U-joints. As for the front, really you would have to do more research.

Depends on whether or not you have leafs up front, or torsion bars, or springs. But for the rear. Just add more leafs for higher ride height and you can add more weight in the rear as well.

  • thats a badass truck man

  • i absolutely love this truck! please tell me what the wheels tires suspension lift kit and etc are i have a 91 just like it that now has a v8

  • god wish mine was this big...

    i got a 89 with a 3inch body lift and 35in mudkings

    nice truck tho

  • nice vid im buildin up my 91 S10 just got my 33 MTs and gettin a new lift but bad ass truck

  • What is the exhaust? That thing sounds good. Mine also has a V8 with Flowmasters, but I don't know if it sounds as good. You can check mine out on chud327...

  • Hey! nice video, looks like a fun place to go mudding. Where did you find a roll bar like that? Was it a local deal or did you find it online? I'm looking for one as well and cannot find one that is for the S10 bed, and to my knowledge the ones for the 1500's are too large. Thanks

  • were is that hole

  • How hard is it to convert a 2wd to a 4x4 on an s-10?

  • yea i wanna know how too..

    anyone?

  • it would be cheaper and more worth while to just got and buy a s10 that has 4x4 then to try and make one 4x4

  • do you have the money to do it and from 1-10 scale its a 10 which is hard as fucking hell.

  • new front axle than transfer case if your lil engine can pull 4 tires

  • See, with converting the S10 from 2WD to 4WD, you need to take measurements and figure out how you are going to get the brackets and how you are going to cut the brackets to let the transfer case sit where it's supposed to. The front drive shaft usually sits higher than the rear drive shaft, so you will have to do a lot of measuring.

  • Your best bet is to go to the Junkyard and find an S10 like yours and just drop the motor in it. You can get a full body with the 4x4 and everything for like 2-300 dollars. ;) Hope that helps a little.

  • My dad had a nice S-10 once lifted and everything with a 305 small block. Im no chevy guy but that truck was nice untill it caught on fire due to overheating. Fuckin' shit trucks.

  • What you could do is get torsion keys for the front, you can find them for less than 300 dollars for a set of two that will lift it up to 3 inches. Cranking on the torsion bars is very risky, seeing as you will put more strain on the drive-train and it will crap out in due time. You can get a 2.5 inch all around in one kit for 425 dollars and trim the fenders a bit to put 32's. Those are big enough for most mudding adventures. Just put 10 dollar spacers on the front wheels to prevent rubbing.
